[News] Report: Brent Urban Has Torn Biceps

Weird very weird beginning with Pitta. Two players with basically season ending biceps injuries. Before a 1st pre-season game, strange. Then there is the mystery of Perriman. Oh boy! Here we go again....nothing is easy in the NFL. Go Ravens.

This is really bad news - I heard this and all I have to say is hang in there, Brent - we want to see you on the field later this year. Terrible luck after the ACL last year. You WILL get your day - have faith.

I feel so bad for Brent, he was doing so great this year. At least it wasn't his knee again. I think we really need to sign a vet back up, like maybe Red Bryant.

If it's a 12 week injury there is no reason for him or elam (same injury) to be out for the year. There is still 4 weeks before the season starts and if you PUP them that is 6 more weeks they don't count against the roster which would leave just 2 weeks to have them on active roster before they'd be ready. Put a brace on them JJ watt Ray lewis style and BAM they're ready to go! Why hasn't John Urschel done the math for them????

Urban was pushing himself as hard as he could. You need to play smart to avoid injuries. But when you're fighting for a job in the NFL it's hard to do. Tough break for Brent.

Oh poor guy! How much it must suck for him, especially being on the cusp of a good year. Next man up I suppose, but he would have been amazing for us. Now, we've had 2 biceps tears this year which is really unusual I suppose. So, from this point on, I am praying for good health of our players for the rest of the season. I really have no choice.

Didn't Ray Lewis come back from a biceps tear his last year? Maybe Urban could still play part of the season.

yeah a 36 year old beast who has no business recovering so fast from that serious of an injury lol. 

 

if ray could do it then i believe urban could do it, but i believe that the pup is not an option for urban since brooks and pitta are on it already. i think urbans just gonna have to miss the season

 The PUP was never an option for Urban since he practiced during training camp. They still could, however, put him on the IR designated to return list.

We need to stop drafting injury prone guys as it keeps hurting our depth.

Would rather have a less talented, but durable guy for us to develop instead.
