This kid must be hurting mentally as he was having another solid camp....KLM should help him this through this as he missed 2 years in a row....

Didn't Ray Lewis come back from a biceps tear his last year? Maybe Urban could still play part of the season.

well I just donated about six bucks to the swear jar, was really looking forward to him contributing this year, get better soon Brent.

I'll admit I don't pay any attention to other teams during training camp ... do they all suffer this much of an injury toll in camp?

This stinks.. I wish him all the best. What  is up with all these injuries? I wanted to see what he could do in a game.

We all waited for them to put the pads on, and go full speed to see who could take the punishment, injuries are part of the game, and rather injured happen now, so they have time to heal, then mid season....

Well we're picking up where we left off injury wise. Really feel for Urban. Third consecutive year he's had a bad injury.

Yeah, injuries on the Defensive Line don't make the uncertainty with Haloti's absence any better.

Didn't Ray Lewis come back from a biceps tear his last year? Maybe Urban could still play part of the season.

Ray Lewis did many spectacular things in his career.  Look at his stats from the Mile High Miracle game, and that was with that ridiculous arm sling too.

We all waited for them to put the pads on, and go full speed to see who could take the punishment, injuries are part of the game, and rather injured happen now, so they have time to heal, then mid season....

Unfortunately not everyone is made of the tuff stuff.  That's why being available to play after making the 53 man roster is not given enough weight by casual fans.  We've let players go that were hickory and it's hurt us.

Didn't Seattle release their starting DT from last years team??? I think he was a cap casualty after they signed Wilson, and that other guy.....

Sad news, this kid looks like a monster with a face that could charm anyone. Hang in there and keep fighting Brent! We are all pulling for you and want to see you on the field. Maybe in 12 weeks...

Ouch, that sucks! For the Ravens and more so for the kid. My bet is, if only either Elam or Urban can get the IR tag, Ravens will go with Elam, despite the horrible year in 2014. Elo was a starter in year 1, although part of that credit goes to the horrible performance by Michael Huff. Everyone saw him get better in OTAs and start of camp. He has some experience. And he was a first round pick. Teams don't like to accept a bust so soon.

Urban has a 2nd season-ending injury in as many years and I hear he had something serious last year out of college. He might be talented, but if he's not durable, then he's simply not made for the NFL.

Someone mentioned deer antler spray, but is it really kosher under NFL rules as of now?

How come people get all mushy and teary eyed over a guy who hasn't played a minute in an NFL game, but pros like Tyson and Guy get no kudos at all!?!

Dorota, no deer antler is not allowed. This is the case where I think doctors should be allowed to use enhanced treatment methods, to help these guys heal faster and better under strict medical supervision and guidance. I don't think making them leave the country like Manning for his neck, just to get the best treatment possible is reasonable or the best for the player and society.

I dont think Tyson or Guy aew not getting kudos. I think we tend to pull for the kids right now in preseason for them to get a shot and to see what kind of upside they have. You are right though availability is the best asset a player possesses.

Danny, you are right about Ray, do you remember that game about 4 years ago where it looked like he tore his triceps and kept playing despite not being able to move his arm? He stayed in and the next play he was the only one to make a tackel on a guy and had to horse collar the man. Then the rest of the D realized that and picked up their play and he got something at halftime and his arm looked better, but even the announcers said they thought that he tore his triceps and kept playing.

Damn, not again. Why cant this guy get on the field? At least at 12 weeks there is a possibility he see's the field this year. But these full year injuries every freakin year are truly getting to be a serious concern.

Yeah, they let Tony McDaniel go and he's known more as a plugger/run stopper guy. Urban was supposed to be an end rusher & ruyn stopper. It is a shame the guy is hurt again for another season. He and Lewis-Moore have been bitten by the injury bug hard. They gave Moore several chances to show what he can do and I am sure Urban will get the same chance next season. Ultimately though, if you can't stay on the field you can't help your team. I hope we don't have to let these guys go because of that and then watch them become good players elsewhere. To answer another poster's question, why are people getting so upset, it is because of the potential these guys are supposed to have and the fact that I don't think anyone like to see any player go down with an injury. I don't care if I dislike the other team and don't really care for the player as a player, but I never want to see anybody go down with an injury.
