38 posts in this topic

Alright, so I managed to get a interview with Fabian Washington. And I'd like 5-10 questions to be able to ask him. Only serious questions please. ;)

What, if anything, have you added to your game since joining the ravens?
Is there anyone in particular who has taken you under their wing to aid in your assimilation into the defense?
Do you like steamed crabs???

Ooh, I got another one.

Any chance you could call up an old teammate of yours and convince him to come to Baltimore? *cough* Randy Moss*cough*
What are you interviewing him for anyway? Sorry, I don't know who you are
I've had a way to contact him for a while. But i felt like during playoff time it'd be the perfect time to contact him. I told him I was going to interview him for ( my ravens blog) and for the fans at the raven forum. And he told me that's fine and send him over the questions and he'll reply back sometime this week. I'm also in works of getting interview with a couple other Raven players.

( you can delete link mods, not trying to spam.)

Tell him to call Nmandi Asomugha to come over to the Ravens.

Also how does it feel to be labeled a bust in Oakland then to come over to Baltimore and be a pro bowl caliber Starter.

Here's a question.

At what point in the season do u feel that this secondary started to Jell together. With season ending injuries to CMac and Landry, plus his and Rolle's early season struggles with injuries. When does he feel that himself and the rest of the memember in the secondary become comfortable with one another.

A follow up question could be.

Do u feel that you guys are clicking on all cylinders on Defense right now.

Another....

Everyone talked about last week being Flacco's first playoff game, but it was also yours. What was your mindset going into that game and how did it feel to get a pick in your first playoff game.

Did you go to Rolle and some of the other vets for advice about the playoffs, or did you just pretty much treat it like a regular week and just let things happen.

At the end of the Dolphins game Ed Reed said numerous times "Here we come" and "We are a team that noone wants to Face" is that the mentality of the entire team? Do you guys make an effort to send a message to the next team you have to face with the style of defense you play? or is it just one game one focus?

Last but not least.....

It seems like whenever you guys are able to establish a 2 posession lead that you start to play a little prevent defense. Is it a case of you guys not wanting to give up a huge play and allow the other team a quick way back into the game? or is it more of just them starting to finally make plays?

If i had the opportunity to chat with Fabian those are a few things i would like to know.

Fabs youre playing great right now, do you think you could be on the pro bowl next year, hint if you practise cactching and tackling in the off season itd be a huge help lol

Whst is it like having a guy like Ed Reed behind you all the time, does he motivate you, does it allow you to be more physical as you know reed is back there,

What do you think is the most imporved area of your game this year?

Could you please talk to Nnamdi and tell him how great it is over here and try to convince him to come over here, imagine you and Nnamdi again, we would have two lock down corners, you should give him a call, dont you think??

I'm trying to think of a non-offensive question that would ask him how the Ravens system brought out his true talent, while his skills were squandered in Oakland.

I agree, somehow incorporate Ed Reed into one of your questions, but don't make it JUST about Reed.

Hey Fabian since you have been on the Ravens you have evolved into a great CB but why do you tackle with the force of a pillow?

I asked him 7 questions (mostly the ones you guys said to ask), and I'll probably post it some time this week. Fab seems like a very cool guy.

Here was the question list. I'm trying to get more interviews with lower named raven players.

Is there anyone in particular who has taken you under their wing that made you gel so good with this defense?

Everyone talked about last week being Flacco's first playoff game, but it was also yours. What was your mindset going into that game and how did it feel to get a pick in your first playoff game?

What is it like having a guy like Ed Reed behind you all the time, does he motivate you, does it allow you to be more physical as you know reed is back there?

It seems like whenever you guys are able to establish a 2 possession lead that the team starts to play a little prevent defense. Is it a case of you guys not wanting to give up a huge play and allow the other team a quick way back into the game?

And the final question we all been wanting to know, can you beat Figurs in a race?
What's with waving your hand in front of your face after breaking up a pass?
It means I'm on fire. Lil Wayne says it in one of his songs referring to him being in the zone when he raps. He's going at it so hard on the mic that he can't feel his face. Him and Juelz even made an albumn called I cant feel my face. Then LeBron James started waving his hand in front of his grill when ever he started to get in the zone and make a big play. I don't know if he started the trend but he's the first one I saw do it. Then everybody else started to copy him and now it's leaked over to the NFL to the point when somebody makes any type of good play they wave their hand over their face bcuz their "on fire". Some say it's the Tony YaYo thing but I'm pretty sure it started with lil wayne and lebron and now everybody does it.

I thought yayo started it in the rap video where he started out in jail and 50 picked him up in a car.
