Can Perriman be our first 1000 yard rookie receiver?

dez bryant is back training...

Perriman is soft..

either that or he has a degenerative issue..what a pathetic pick.

Unless he is that terrible of a route runner, coaching does not want him on the field yet.

What's the point of rushing him back now if he isn't completely 100%? Our season is basically in the tubes. It would be pointless to push him back and then him re-injure himself.

Let him come back for a couple games at the end of the year and get acclimated to the NFL or put him on IR. Get someone else that can at least contribute. He's been taking up a roster spot for 3 months now.

Real talk:

Does anyone think he'd still be taking up a roster spot if he wasn't a first round pick? I think he would've gone to IR now, honestly. I have nothing to base this off of but a bunch, however, I think the team's gotta be really sick of this guy.

The thing I can't stand is that he wasn't even that good of a prospect, he was only given a first round grade because of his 40. Can't run a route, average hands. Fast. I want Treadwell.

yup.

he pretty much had the same grade as torrey.

he is the prototype al davis pick lol.

i do think he can become special though or at least as good as torrey was which is what we need.

and we should hear less crying about ozzie not drafting offense early for a while.....

Perriman's knee boo boo will never heal. As far as I'm concerned this guy doesn't exist. Any future plans shouldn't assume that he'll develop into a reliable WR.

Given Waller just went on IR for a hammy .... I'd have to say no.

How sick is the team of this? I think Harbaugh's comment that this is the slowest healing sprained PCL in history says a lot. That's a not exactly a subtle dig.

We can't see what is going on under the surface ... I would think we'd be working directly with him on his rehab and, if he's not approaching it with 100% dedication to getting himself ready to play, will have the organization fuming.

This is the slowest healing injury Iv ever seen in my life watching Football.

I can tell the teams patience is running thin.

The worst thing about this is the fact that if Perriman doesn't play this year he'll have to come back to football after not playing for a YEAR and he'll have to learn everything all over again. Essentially he'll be a rookie. I don't like the idea of having a WR core of A rookie, Aiken and some other bum.

Starting to question this myself. I'm no professional athlete, but I have sprained my PCL before. No surgery of any sort, but I had 6 weeks of rehab and I was able to resume my normal gym routine. The fact that this guy has been out since August is a bit ridiculous. And there don't seem to be any signs of progress.

Yeah. The impression I get from the team is that they're tired of this as well. That's just me reading between the lines, but I was frankly surprised when Harbaugh talked about how this PCL is healing so slowly. I think he would be on IR right now if he wasn't a first round pick.

My patience with him has expired, personally. He could come back and play like a boss and I'm sorry to say but I still wouldn't trust him much. I'd need to see him play well for all of next year before I just assume we're fine with him.

Was never a fan of the pick from the start, truthfully.

A shame Ozzie didn't get the courage to draft a WR early in the loaded 2014 class.

I've defended the guy to death but man... I'm getting tired of waiting. I'm getting covinced he won't see the field and we're not letting others know the serverity of whatever injury he has.....

This season man.

Yeah man. I was really defending him but now I've had it as well. I pretty much nearly lost all hope he'll even play.

I see Harbaugh said he still has a chance to play this season. I'll believe it when I see it, but hope springs a kernel.

I've been all for letting him wait to heal his knee up properly, and I still am, but the wait is definitely frustrating. Longest two-week injury ever, that's for sure.

I don't believe it. Sorry. I don't.

I wouldn't even call Perriman soft. I don't think they got his injury right in the first place. I think if he were to play it'd be after the bye.

It's too early to say anything but damn am I frustrated

Can someone DM Breshad on Twitter and ask him what's the hold up? Lol if I had a Twitter I would be blowing his up. The Ravens, especially BP, have to know exactly what's going on.

It`s fans like you I don`t get and I don`t like! (But you are not alone - there are some on this Bord).

Neither Perryman nor the Ravens owe us an explanation. The only thing we need to know is that he is injured! I bet he would love to be out there and I bet the Team would love to have him.

Me personally I don`t want to see him back unless he is 100%.

But Blowing up a twitter account of a 22year old Rookie to pressure him is not the answer! What`s next? Screaming and calling him out at night on his front yard?

Yes he is a pro and get big money but when you are injured you are injured. Going on a rent doesn’t make him healthy!

Really, so us fans deserve to be in the dark about our first round draft pick who's taking forever to recover from an injury that Harbaugh said would be day to day and it's turned into months with no real updates other than a "successful surgery" and is out "indefinitely". Got it! And I know sarcasm is hard to sense over the Internet, but I was indeed being sarcastic about the Twitter thing.

So ok it was sarcastic … problem is on the internet are enough stupid people who get motivated by posts like this because they think there are other people out there believing it`s a great idea!

Yes for me as a fan It´s ok to be in the dark! All I need to know is that he is injured! Well I know he was reinjured on a attempt to come back!

As a Fan your nothing else like a customer… nobody would tell me as a customer what my favorite waiter, cashier or technician has when he called in sick to work and isn`t available! It`s ok because it`s private! And I have no right to get personal information of his status or how far his recovery is!

We know he has a knee injury! That`s all we have to know! It`s more than enough!

And we are not the only Team who lost the first round pick… Kevin White from the Bears is still out, D. Fowler  is out for the year … it happens in sports! At least he didn`t get hurt because he did something stupid! He got hurt in training camp and again at warm ups! Happens all the time!

Just be realistic – the season is over! No need to risk something now if it might get worse!

If Perriman can play he needs to play. We need to know how much of a need WR is going forward.

Exactly. We're in dire need of WR's after this season even if Perriman is available and there's no telling if he'll even be 100%.

And even if he's 100% we have no idea if he's actually good. If he's not we need to know as soon as possible.

Bingo! I do have a lot of confidence in him, but you're absolutely correct.

I don't think it's cause of his mental toughness. Harbaugh would chew that guy out faster than you could think if that was the case. The Harbaughs have a tendency to go green when pissed off. Both of em.

I just hate that I think they're hiding crap.
