[News] Late For Work 8/6: Joe Flacco Reveals First Impressions Of Breshad Perriman

I hate it for Juice. He's one of the fan favorites and he's pretty effective in open space. If Trestman looked at his plays from last year, I don't see why he would limit his role this year.

I wouldn't pay much attention to that statement saying he doesn't have a home or whatever. Trestman knows what juice is capable of and I'm sure he will be utilized accordingly - regardless if it has showed in practice at this point. I like keepin him under he radar- he will be one of our secret weapons Edited by January J

Sorry J, I'm gonna disagree w/ you bro.  You practice the plays you plan on incorporating into your offense.  If they're not calling Juice's number in practice, that will probably translate to game day.

I'm not sure to what extent Juice is not being used. The quote was specific to Wednesday's practice. Not getting thrown a ball in a single practice that a RSR reporter was on hand is hardly an indicator that a guy is not going to be utilized. We'll not be running a lot of 2 TE sets unless a 2nd TE really shows up (and so far I don't see that happening), I think Juice will get his.

I am also not liking that Juice has not been used much in Trestman's offense. I feel that the guy could bring a lot to the table. He too, is one of my favorite Ravens.

NFLN finally reports on Ravens TC and who do they bring in to comment on the team?Jamie Dukes and Heath Evans. Two guys they haven't used to cover any other TC and the two guys our fanbase hate most. What a perfect way to make sure no Ravens fan watches NFLN for the day.

Juice is a versitile player that can help Joe start to get the flow when they begin the game on offense on the getco (don't know if I spelled that correctly). Dumping to Juice for a 5 yard gains would give Joe confidence and easy completions. Ex: When Joe dump the ball to Leach at the beginning of the Super Bowl it set the tone for Joe the rest of the game. Juice can be the same type a player for Joe. Juice kinda reminds me of Kuhn for some reason. :-)

If I was an OC and I had Leach and now Juice on my team, I would run that play once every series of downs until the defense proved they could stop it, because traditionally it has always worked. Just like you said, Leach and Juice will get you at least five yards guaranteed, they always do, yet it is not called very much.

You got that right my friend. I think they do it on purpose to us.

Did I hear that correctly? Both Jaime Dukes and Heath Evans giving some props to the Ravens? Is this the 7th sign?

Wait a minute. People say the video is on the page. I guess I'm blind because I don't see it.

that's true I just don't know how much I believe the notion that he's not getting his # called unless I saw it for myself.. Like I said earlier these writers/analysts put so much stock into just one practice .. That's why we have heard so many conflicting reports about other players.

Someone mentioned Juice not having a defined role on the team. But I think that's the point. Swiss Army Knives don't have a defined role. They have MANY roles depending on the situation. And they're awfully handy to have around when you're in the midst of a forest of rival defenders as Juice has shown on many occasions.

Juice is always around the ball on special teams, either with tackles or awesome blocks. The only thing I worry about with him is fumbling after the catch. He needs to hold that ball tight.

I see those attributes and that catch issue as well. He's my number one guy.
