Nice. Like to see Flacco to Waller. I like to see all these guys doing good. Man I cant wait for preseason games. I want to see Waller and Perriman, in action.

"Campanaro seems like a natural punt returner. He has sure hands in that position and doesn’t get rattled when Harbaugh jumps in front of him to distract him."

Wonder what - or who - Harbaugh was trying to simulate there... :)

Preseason games can't come quick enough! Too much time without football. One thing I'm most interested to see is who will be the returner for punts and kick offs.

While we're at the topic of Suggs being funny: after the open practice at the stadium on Monday, when Harbaugh was asked about his takes on the training, he said with a grin something like "Never give Sizzle a live mic."

Anyone happens to know what Suggs said in the mic?

I know BP is fast in all, but can he play catch up with all this time missed?

I was thinking the same thing. I know he's a 1st round pick, but given that he came from a relatively weak college conference, he's going to need every possible minute of training camp & preseason to acclimate to the NFL. Each day that he misses is that much more catching up he's going to have to do. Hope he heals & comes back soon. The collective inexperience of the Ravens' receiving corps (minus Smith Sr.) has me a bit nervous. IMO, it might not hurt to sign a veteran WR who gets cut in the next few weeks. I dread to think what would happen if Smith Sr. went down.

Bershad Perriman needs to go back to training camp as soon as possible. He needs every practice he could get. I hope he's coming back soon.

Nah... Couldn't have been Trawick... No one was injured on the play.

That game is gonna go down as the most face palm inducing game ever.

idk, I still chuckle when I think of Sanchez running into his own players backside

There's no real rush on Perriman. Be safe with the knee. He can still learn the playbook and get coached up for now. We'll probably see him practice next week before our pre season opener and he'll get some reps in, I'm sure.

I am hoping Marlon is OK. Not sounding good and we need him out there.

ON a side note, I have noticed that Joe Flacco is looking sharp! I think all this talk of him not doing so well until the playoffs has a fire under his butt this year! :-)

This Perriman saga is a concern. So many missed practices now with more coming, I wonder now if he'll miss the preseason opener against the Saints. He is the guy that gives us the confidence in the WR core. Without him we start to question if the Ravens can stretch the field, can SSS get open with the safeties pinching up instead of laying back. Although unproven and a rookie Perriman's presence alone is a huge factor, let alone the production we all think he'll have. I imagine the staff is being super cautious with his injury but it's disappointing not seeing him practice. Good things come to those who wait. We've been waiting and I bet he'll be great. Go Ravens!

I know - there is a bit of a concern that his injury is more serious than we're letting on and it is a bit of a concern that he's missing practice time that he rookies sorely need (especially now that practice schedule is abbreviated).

what injury does Brown have?

All the article said was "back". We rarely get info on how serious these things are.

I think it's a good time to remind people that perriman struggled w/ osgood-schlatter disease as a kid. I'm not sure if that type of condition leaves you permanently or subsides as you grow older. I just know that it's a form of knee inflammation. Maybe that the team being super cautious with these guys are the reasons why he is missing so much time. Perriman and marlon brown have no timetable to return so we'll see what happens going forward.

The butt-fumble is always good for a laugh.

Marlon is a big need. If he misses a significant amount of time they will need to sign a Vet! BP though is what he is, the 1st season for most hi drafted WR's are usually average.

I'm really hoping dumerville is 100%

Tendinitis doesn't usually heal in a week. I hope this was just a precaution and his rehab started weeks before any of us knew about it. Stay healthy guys we can wait.

As for perriman, I hate that he's missing crucial time but am not worried just yet. It's a steep learning curve and we would be lucky if he's NFL ready by week 10. Take your time. Heal properly and learn for the next 15 weeks. Then it's game on as the season winds down and the playoffs approach.

yeah i figured lol

although if im not mistaken the "simulations" are referring to trying to rattle him while the ball is in air, i dont think hes actually jumping in front of a player while hes running down the sidelines

Waller's going to be the gem of the draft. Big, Strong with 4.3 speed taken in the 6th round. No way the Ravens cut him. I have high hopes for this kid and he's going to be star.

You mean the coach who, during a game, was on the far sideline as JJ was running a return for a TD and who stuck his knee out onto the field just as JJ ran by to knock him off his stride and then the coach turns away with a sly impish smile?  You mean that one?

That should be done to wr's during a practice with the media there, harbs could just say he's keeping them alert lol

No way Waller gets cut. He's a person someone like Manning would get at least 700 yards out of. Steal of the draft right there.
