Ngata not practicing with the Lions b/c of a bad hammy.  Where have we heard that before?  Deja Vu'

The season he played with a bad hammy was probably his worst season as a Raven.

Great to get out to M&T last night. Nothing like seeing so many new players practice with my own 2 eyes. When SSS came out of a contact play limping, my heart sank. I was so relieved to see him come back in rather quickly. It would be a disaster to lose SSS so I hope contested catches are amped back a dash to reduce the chances of a freak injury to any receiver or defender. Need to get through camp healthy. Tucker was amazing.

We really do have depth everywhere... but S right now. Wonder if Ozzie will move to add depth or if they are happy with Trawick right now(who actually looks very good so far)!

skip bayless showing love towards a ravens player almost caused me to go into shock.

Only b/c Elam's on IR.  Skip would never praise an active player.

I don't wish ill will on Ngata, but seriously why not sign an extension with the team that drafted you? Why the greed man? Now, you're stonewalling the Lions for an extension? You are waning as a player Haloti, get real!

Depth is the most important thing in the game. Injuries happen and you have to do the best to stay healthy. Whoever has the best bench/the best health makes it deep into January. I'm excited to see all these young players shining. I am kind of hoping these young receivers really are shining like they say... All the highlights are against the back up corners. It would make me feel better if I saw Perriman beating Jimmy Smith or Lardarius Webb. I have faith that the corners will always play at a high level because of what they have done here, I am just afraid of an offensive stand still the first couple games and we need those early wins with the tough schedule.

Only because this safety's name isn't Pollard! If it was Pollard, his man crush Brady's nemesis, he would be giggling with glee!

Why does everyone act like the loss of Matt Elam is of any significance? While I do not wish him harm, all he has shown since being drafted is that he doesn't belong in the NFL. Excuse after lame excuse is made for his inability to cover anyone, even the tight end, and for his inability to tackle anyone. Sorry, but this crap about his missing the year leaves a "gaping hole" in the Ravens defense is utter nonsense.

Because he has experience and provides needed depth at the safety position. He can play both safety positions if necessary and was probably the best safety on the roster after Hill and Lewis prior to his injury.  Plus he was an inexpensive stop gap in the event a starter went down.  I'm sure you've heard it a 1000 times, you can never have enough quality depth at any position.

I was there and Garret Downing was literally like 3 rows up from me in the box!! I turned around and said "wow" lol. Then a little after halfway through practice Ryan Mink came and took over Downings seat! It was pretty cool, I got in a selfie with Garret in the background too lol. But yea even I got excited when Tucker booted that 64-yarder. All attention was on Tucker to see if he would make that, I swear everybodies head was following the ball as it was in the air and right when we saw it go in between the goals we all started cheering lol.

Also captain defense came to my section, that was pretty cool. He was like one row in front of me by the stairs.

Did it barely make it through the goal posts or did it clear the bottom bar pretty easily?

It was probably 3 ft from the bottom goal post. I actually recorded the 58 yarder he made too. Gotta figure out the best way to upload it on here.

I'm a little bit surprised Crockett Gilmores name hasn't come up more. Wonder hows hes doing at practice.

You don't sign a bad contract with a team just because their the team that drafted you. He was really good for us last year and led the team in INT's.

Willing to bet he's already designated as the starter, so you won't see much pub on him.

But a lot of pub on Williams and Boyle since they're battling for the #2 TE spot.
