That's interesting. Steelman is the second non-WR guy we sign and convert to WR - although WR was already one of the most crowded position... These are those trademark Ozzie-moves no analyst or fan would ever anticipate...

Steelmans time in the 40 was 4.6 and 4.65 at the combine. That's not real fast for a 5'11" receiver. He might make the practice squad.....maybe.

The Ravens want certain players because of the attributes they have. Right now this young man is 10 feet tall because he's trying out for the Baltimore Ravens. I'm proud to have a soldier getting his chance at the NFL.

Keep him at QB. Hope he becomes a decent Wilson clone and takes Schaub's roster spot. Him choosing to play WR is ill-advised in my armchair GM opinion.

Wes Welker's 40 time was also 4.65. That worked out pretty well. Welker was not the norm for sure but there is a chance for Steelman, especially being squared away by military training.

Very interesting signing. Add this guy to the underrated watch list. WR is VERY crowded now, its going to be a intense camp.

Interesting that this isn't the first time the Ravens have looked at this guy. They must see something that they like and with those stats at Army I think he deserves a chance to show what he's got.

Pretty interesting signing. Given we lost Tyrod and the specialty plays he was great at, Harbs must see some of the same things in him. Also, the fact that he is a receiver as well, makes for a pretty deceptive offense when he can be on the field I suppose.

Hmmmm. Played QB in college. Wants to be a WR. Very good hands. Excellent runner. Potential kick and punt returner. Who does that sound like? Can you say, "Julian Edelman?"
