I expect Maxx Williams to be the #2 TE for the Ravens this year. He wasn't noted for being a good blocker but I can see him doing a bit of damage in twin TE packages. Blocking though is really more about how much you want it. "Juice's" ability to block was in question coming into the NFL and was thought to be a pass catching FB. In one off season he shed any doubts of just how strong of a lead blocker he can be.

Brandon Williams is just a freak of nature. Glad to see that handstand of his wasn't just some hype/fluke thing and he really is as strong as advertised. Having him come on like he has made us all forget about Terrence Cody and will make us not miss Ngata too much.

Curious to see how Karpon Lewis-Moore can do if healthy and same thing goes for former hockey player Brent Urban. Lewis-Moore has gotten lots of praise for being a stellar player with a lot of potential, but injuries have robbed him of any opportunity to contribute. Urban was praised as well after being drafted last year, but blew out his knee and also wasn't able to get on the field. If either of these guys can show up it would give us some awesome depth along the front line.

To all the naysayers out there, im telling you Breshad Perriman is going to be a STUD for the Baltimore Rvens. This kid will be in the conversation for offensive rookie of the year. Mark my word. he's a faster, stronger version of Torrey Smith with the ability to get better separation off the line, which wasn't Torrey's bred and butter. Campanaro is the real deal too. This kid is quick and shifty and will be a great slot receiver, third round specialist. I hope my Ravens can afford to keep seven receivers . Smith, Perriman, Brown, Aitkin,Campanaro, Butler and Waller. I would hate to see anyone of these guys get cut. I envision Perriman and Waller developing into our number one and two receivers, this kid Waller has so much upside its unbielable. Codos to Babby Engram. we are in a good place offensively, thrust me ravens nation.

That is what I really like about Campanaro (assuming he can stay on the field). Those quick moves to get open a few yards down the field can really get the chains moving and neutralize a pass rush. He just has to prove he can do it 16 games in a row.

How about 19 games in a row? (I'm eliminating the wildcard game as our record gave us a bye) lol

Pick six and Schaub in the same sentence - what are the odds?

It seems like it just keep happening. A Lot!! I hope he gets his mojo back in case we need him. Scary thought.

Jeremy butler is my sleeper has anyone heard from aiken ?

Its a possibility.  Last season I had Butler beating Aiken for a roster spot.  Clearly I was wrong, and both will probably make the roster this season but I like hearing these rave reviews about Butler.

It was just the 2nd day of camp. And if you aren't hearing his name, that could be a good thing. May not be making flashy plays, but at least it doesn't say he is making mistakes/looking bad

I was thinking to that the young core of receivers Perriam, Campy Aiken Butler Waller and Brown are all have a upside another sleeper is Waller to me he is freakishly big and strong when he learns the pro game look out he Perriman will be the 1-2 in the future Campy is a chain mover but I also like the grit of Butler and Aiken both are compliment receivers that are strong and don't fear going over the middle. Flacco will be able to get a lot done with this unit over the next few years a lot!o

I feel the same way. In his limited time on the field last year, he showed the ability to quickly get open and he converted some big 3rd downs, and he can hold onto the ball even when getting hit. If he can stay healthy, I think he can be a great compliment to Perriman's playmaking ability on the outside. Fans talk about Aiken and Brown a lot, and I really like Aiken, but I felt that Campanaro was our most talented young receiver last year, when he was actually on the field.

glen ferguson...You need a Perriman avatar.  I support Waller. Camp reminds me of a young Wes Welker

I hope Arthur Brown does well this year. Would be nice to have two young LB's that the Ravens can count on to make plays going into the future.

well it's good to hear that the rookies are doing good, but i'm even more stoked that just maybe Arthur Brown is finally starting to hit his stride and might find a place in the defense.

when Campy is on the field he's gets things done he has the ability to keep the drive alive so that Smitty or Perriman can make a play. if healthy Camp will become a nightmare to cover. DeCosta and Oz decided not peruse Edleman instead they went after Camp in the draft to develop him the slot is his if he can stay healthy.

Just a few thoughts: Kendrick Lewis' interception sounds better that Arthur Browns', even though Browns' one was a pick-6, just because Lewis' was against Joe. Everybody gets pick-6s from Schaub. Of course, I wasn't there to see them, though. Glad that Maxx started to look so much better. Real glad that Camp played so well. Not surprised at all about that, though. What He has to do is just stay healthy. I don't think that his talent level is in question. Webby, nice to have you join us, but still a bit disappointed that it took you two tries to pass the conditioning test. You're supposed to be one of the leaders of our secondary and had injury issues last year. Would have liked for you to come into camp in TOP condition. Butler, it sounds like you've been putting on a show, but Two TDs called back for pushing off, Two? Don't start a bad habit when it sounds like you've been looking so good. And, finally, Brandon Williams. This guy is Really big and Really strong. I hope, big time, that between him and Jernigan, Ngata's departure won't mean much. Like I said, just a few thoughts.

So do we not mention Snoop either?  The media will tend to mention that certain personalities are present.  It's interesting to some, and some more than others.  But it does draw attention to the activity.

You're right I get that but is it surprising? I do understand that there are new Ravens fans, new Baltimorians, and plenty of Phelps fans out there but saying Phelps was at the 1st day of training camp is like saying to a New Yorker that Spike Lee was at a Knicks game

Btw, personally I'd say Snoop is a different story if he was at our practice for a couple reasons. 1) It's well-known that he's a HUGE Steelers fan so if he was at our practice, I'd be suspicious more than anything(spygate II lol) and 2) if he was genuinely here to enjoy himself and watch the team, it'd be interesting to me b/c he's not known to be a fan of ours...unlike Phelps

I'm not hating on Phelps or the author of the article, it's just not surprising at all to me that Phelps was there, and shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who has followed the team for the past few years...so I personally didn't think he needed to be mentioned... however Phelps IS pretty much an honorary Raven so I guess that's why too lol

?? except?? This article and what I said doesn't contradict the other. As I said, if he was genuinely here to enjoy himself and watch practice, as it seems he was since he was invited by his friend Ray, then I'd be interested... which I was b/c I do remember this...specifically the man holding Snoop's umbrella. So yea, no "except"... however I'd think the Steelers more than the Raiders would be more shocked...

You said you'd be suspicious because he is a huge Steelers's fan. Just pointing out, that he was here is all.

No I get it... you're right I should've been more clear... I would originally be suspicious of it unless I found out he was genuinely here to enjoy himself... which it turns out he was... btw, did anyone check to see if his entourage was recording anything lol jk
