Oh man, I hate reading this kind of news. Hope Perriman will bounce back quickly. Glad everyone else is doing good except Webb to which I am not worried about cause Webb will eventually pass the test.

I expected as much with bp thats what i was worried about his lack of focus he'll make some good plays but other times he will not know what he's doing and his tweaked knee proves it but nice to hear about steve smith sr and i hope lardarius is on the field soon

What??? How does tweaking his knee while making a diving catch prove that he doesnt know what he's doing?

Please explain.... because I'm thoroughly confused by that comment.

The great training camp conundrum....you must practice hard to prepare for a hard season, but because you are playing hard, injuries happen. Let's hope this is minor and the end of any more injuries. Stay safe and healthy people! GO RAVENS!

SSS is spinning the ball in 1st practice already. Love the attitude. As the saying goes, "you play like you practice". Glad this veteran is setting the mental standard. Keep it spinning SSS.

Great to see camp getting underway and signs that most guys are getting healthy. At least when the Ravens report and injury I trust it a bit more than when the Orioles used to report injuries. Case in point Brian Roberts missing a couple of days because he "felt dizzy." Only to find out he was suffering from a concussion and then about four years worth of Post Concussion Syndrome.

One guy I will miss for sure is Dennis Pitta. He was actually drafted the round after Ed Dickson and we see where that went. After breaking his hip again I seriously doubted him ever playing football again, but give him credit for rehabbing and getting back on the field and being able to do limited practice. For him, I want him to do what is best for his health and I think that is walking away from the game while he still can walk.

Brings me to my next point. Starting TE will be Crockett Gilmore, I have no doubts. I like how he came out saying he was a blocking TE and he really wasn't much of a receiver. This is precisely what will earn him the starting job. The block first mentality is great, but don't let his humble comments fool you. He is a gifted athlete who wrestled, played WR, TE, and even Defensive end at either high school or college levels. He might not be a speed burner, but you don't need to be when you are strong, 6'7'', and know how to get yourself open. Todd Heap wasn't a speed burner and despite having Kyle Boller attempting to get him killed every season Heap had a great career.

Our secondary will be very iffy this year if our guys don't stay healthy. Miss those long years we had with good safeties that knew how to study tape and play smart. Ed Reed, Dwan Landry, Haruki Nakamura, Tom Zibikowski, Jim Leonard, Bernard Pollard etc...

Do NOT rush Perriman back too soon. Give him whatever time he needs to make sure that his knee is 100% right. Don't push it. He's too good to put at risk. Webby, come on, man, Already? Stay tough, Camp. We need you to stay healthy. If you do, you can really help this team. #26, isn't that Anthony Levine that Perriman ran past like he was standing still? Man, Perriman gets off the line FAST! I like Will Hill.

In a real game situation Perriman might have taken it in for a TD while Elam trips and falls over his shoes. No, it really isn't a joke.

Sorry, Anthony Levine. My bad. So it was Elam, huh? Oh boy, Elam. Not what we're needing to see. You just Gotta get it together this camp. I know that was only one play, but you, of all people, can't afford very much of that kind of stuff.

@Darkraven23 I'm sorry but that doesn't makes any sense. Why would you say Perriman doesn't know what's he doing? Actually it was a good thing trying to make the catch because you never know when we need a very tough catch to move the chains. Perriman will be fine. It's good that Perriman needs to try to catch everything that goes in his way.

Good point on Perriman, unfortunately aren't you tired after several years of watching "everyone torching" Elam?

All those reports on how Hill and Elam were battling for the SS position is a joke.

If you think Elam stands a chance vs. Hill you are mistaken.
