[News] Late For Work 7/28: Terrell Suggs, Marshal Yanda Won't Hate Their Madden 16 Ratings

25 posts in this topic

Classy response from Ed saying Ray Lewis would get his vote as the greatest Raven of all time. Way to show loyalty to his teammate. It says a lot about Ed's character, their close relationship and Ed's respect for Ray. Ravens fans were blessed to have 2 of the greatest players at their positions of all time in not just Raven's history, but the best in the history of the entire NFL.

Ray Lewis is HANDS DOWN the best Raven of all time. This is, undoubtedly, a NO BRAINER. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed should Both be first ballot HOFers. But, no doubt, Ray Lewis is the best Raven of all time. Not even close.

When they started this thing at CSNBaltimore, I wrote them "Why make this loooong voting game, just to come to the conclusion everybody knows: that the best ever Raven is Ray Lewis" - and really... why make a voting on the obvious?

Training camp opens for all my Ravens tomorrow. That's all I need to hear right about now.

Amen and thank goodness none of them made the police blotter.

He is a little unfortunate that he spent all his career together with Ray Lewis - he would now be called the undisputed and blatantl obvious "Best Ever" just about any other franchises...

On the other hand, I guess playing on Ray's side does kinda help you bring your best out...

Fun fact: though not the same time, Reed has played on one team with Ray Lewis, Jonathan Ogden, Shannon Sharpe and Deion Sanders... not many players could name such a HOF quartet for teammates...

Reed never played with Shannon Sharpe. Sharpe's last season with the Ravens was 2001, and Reed was drafted in 2002.

Ed might not have been the great player he was if not for Ray's mentoring. Just sayin'!

Ed Reed was the most talented and mercurial player in Ravens history. But, Lewis was the heart and soul of its defense for an entire generation. That about sums up why Ed Reed would vote his big brother in as the best Raven ever.

Ray Lewis may not have been the most talented Raven, but he is without a doubt the FACE of the franchise and will be for a long time.

Neither Lewis or Reed are unfortunate, both are great players in their perspective positions.  It should be an honor to both men that they got to play football on the same team together for the amount of time that they did.

Lol, Brady destroyed his phone! What a tool. Anytime a patriots fan condescendingly asks "where's the white suit" we now have a response..."I don't know, where's the phone?"

Obstruction of justice if I've ever seen it.

is it crazy that my top 3 defenders of all-time played on the same team for 2 years?? Prime time, Ed, and Ray!!! I was in heaven, only on defense tho...i couldnt stomach kyle boller. I wish we had a legit QB then because those years from 2002-2008 were the defense's prime years!! but everything happens for a reason.

Speculation at this point.

For what its worth, the initial report game from (gulp) Stephen A. Smith, who isn't exactly known for his reporting accuracy.

For what its worth, I also don't blame him for destroying his phone. And destroying his phone doesn't necessarily mean that retrieving his messages is impossible either.

I was just reading the Commissioners report on ESPN... Brady really is a piece of you know what, especially the deception in destroying his phones.

The destruction of his phone is actually on the 20 page report from Gooddell

exactly, that is not speculation and is now a fact . And if this was a burner (disposable phone where no contract is required) it would be next to impossible to retrieve the messages unless you involved the freaking NSA.

The bracket was useless due to the fact Ray Lewis was the most important piece his whole career. Physically and mentally he made tire tracks through ice, mud, snow and water making it so simple to crave greatness. The whole bracket is full of greats, just Ray touched the team and city on a (whole) nother level.

Wait a second! Madden changed Yanda's score last year 'cause you complained!?! Why don't you complain about the price of milk, or the taxes in MD, or Goodell being Commish, etc. I'd like to see all those changed and apparently, you can get it done! Go Ozzie!
