Ray Rice

Haven't we rested him enough? Please tell me we get him some snaps against tennessee...
I know contusions can be bad, but I believe he is our secret weapon, and the jumpstart our offense needs to closeout this playoff run?
Does anyone know anything about #27???

Heard he was just dressed as an emergency back. Give him another week, we'll defiantly need him more at Tenn then vs Miami

Even if he is healthy i wouldnt expect him to get too many carries. McGahee is the third down back now, and i dont think they wann risk ray sucking after injury. He is only our third string RB.

I dont understand this line of thought...
The ONE game where he was featured, he got 150+ yds. The guy is our next superstar...let HIM SHINE!

I've been hearing lots of things.. From bruises/contusions to a high ankle sprain.. and I think the sprain is probablly what it is.. that usually puts players out for 4-6 weeks. He suited up for the phins game but I guess coach felt like we didnt need him. Maybe with Mcgahees injurys we want to keep a strong back healthy and ready to play when his number's called. However I cant say that they'll trust him to put him in these elimination games.. Rice as proved he's a GREAT runner but he's still a rookie. and you have to kindof worry about his ability to carry the load in big games when he hasent played for a month. Id love to see Rice in for at least a few carrys this week in Tenn.

I don't think that after playing this season, we should fall back to "he's a rookie, we don't trust him to carry the ball in the playoffs." If he's injured that's one thing, but I think if he's ready to play, we should play him. He's played these teams before. That said, if he's having a bad day, we have others to replace him. I just don't think he shouldn't play for the sole reason that he's a rookie.

Its not that he's a rookie. I can't say for sure that I'd want Mcgahee or Mcclain carrying the ball for 30+ carrys after 4 weeks of not playing a single game either. Especially in an elimination game. Believe me Im THE biggest Rice supporter..

Fair enough, and I hear your point...
But look at it this way:

McLain fumbled on our first drive...and he has been our #1 guy.
isn't that the worst case scenario for Ray? The upside is way bigger than the downside. It already happened...

Plus, its all about risk vs. reward. I'll take the risk of lettin ray rock, because I know he can reward us in ways the other backs cant.

We didn't need him out there. Let him rest another week, he'll be in even better shape for the Titans game when we really need him as a receiver.

As a Titans fan I hope Rice doesnt get a carry or a catch. I just dont see McClain beating us. He is the ideal back for the Titans D. A Rice and McGahee combo would be much more effective. Slaton played well against us this year and like Rice he can really make some people miss. Maybe Im dead wrong but I dont see McClain up the middle for much of a gain on Tony Brown and Big Al. But if Big Al is out then that will change a lot b/c Jason Jones is undersized for a dt.

Geez... thanks for that advice Titan fan, I think that your right...Neal, McGahee,Rice, and McClain combo is the right combo to beat your defense...is that what you said? well anyway we will try to pass that on to the coaching staff, but I think they most likely have thier own plan though  lol

Haha yea Im pretty sure they know more then me. If Rice is healthy I would get him the ball is all I am saying (i love Neal too btw ex titan)I also think it would be really smart to keep Ed Reed on the bench this week. :D Can you even throw it within twenty yards of that guy? Maybe he should get some carries too for you.
