He probably doesn't see the PS simply because he is a 1st rounder and the front office doesn't seem quite ready to give up on him. However, I feel he should be inserted as a backup and play mainly on ST to practice his tackling and angles.

So you would give him a chance and also the benefit of the doubt. We should not put up with a guy who can''t tackle which is the base creed of a RAVENS  safety. IMO  Obviously KLewis was brought here to rub Elams  pride into a focal point. If you can't basic tackle you should not play any D no matter what exotic package a fan dreams up. j

You cant be on PS after being a starter for so long. PS is out of question, breakout or bust and get cut that simple noting in between

First and foremost, If healthy, Will Hill is a starting/Pro Bowl caliber Free Safety. Kendrick Lewis is also listed as Free Safety but he is bought in to push Matt Elam who is a Strong Safety? Whatever the case maybe, Lewis has the job to start unless Elam out plays him. Terrance Brooks will continue to develop into an eventual top tier safety behind the veterans Lewis and Hill. Trawick and Levine are 4th-6th in pecking order depending Brooks health and the expectation that Elams play improves.
