International American Football World Championship USA vs Japan (gold metal game)

The US has won the last two championships and today (7pm) they are going for the hat trick. Japan won the first two IFAF gold metal games. And, according to the announcers, football has been played in Japan since 1936.

Also worth noting: the International Olympic Committee has given International Federation of American Football provisional recognition. This is an important step that could lead to football becoming an Olympic sport as early as 2024.

Team USA leads 8-0 after intercepting on Japan's first possession.
