Stronger Arm - Stafford or Flacco?

So, same teams, coaches, staff etc and Ravens and Packers agree to swap quarterbacks. You'd say no?

I love Flacco. But Rodgers is on a level above everyone. Not his fault that he doesn't have a good defense

Also Rodgers + this defense = super bowl dynasty.

Flacco + that defense = playoff exit.

Sorry Flacco.

Packers defense is comparable to ours, they did better in the 2014 playoffs... regardless, in terms of pure arm strength / ball speed / throw length Flacco may beat Rodgers just based on pure mechanical motion and energy. No denying that Rodgers is a beast, though.

Sorry Flacco.

I suppose the fact that GB gave up nine more yards/game than us last year supports that...

Yes, Rodgers is in a league of his own in terms of talent, but hypothetically placing him in some situation that is marginally better defensively (not offensively, however) and stating that we would be so much better off is ridiculous.

FYI- Rodgers with GB defense = playoff exit. They don't need Flacco for that.

He's stuck in 2011, I think

people are seriously debating flacco being in the same league as rodgers?

In terms of arm strength, no doubt

Oh, OK. Really don't remember that.  I've never watched much of the pro bowl stuff.

It would be cool if they brought back the QB Challenge. Guessing it's gone due to some facet of the CBA.

That could be a reason, I remember watching them growing up. The most recent I found was 2007. They had fastest, best hands, and strength challenges. They also had some obstacle course kind of things. The players seemed to enjoy it, they love to compete.

Not to get sidetracked, here's Vick doing his skills competition in 2006

Btw, this is Rodgers' 64 yard long pass at his college skills competition. He had a 70 yd attempt that fell out of bounds. Joe Flacco did 74.

arm strength alone flacco is pretty much better then rodgers.

when it comes to everything else that makes a QB is not even close....

"Everything else" is a little heavy-handed, Flacco has been more durable and played better in the postseason recently BUT, I'm nitpicking. Yes, overall Rodgers is a better player. He's the best QB in the league for sure.

Truthfully, after last year's playoff performance by Flacco, and his consistent growth in play and confidence, I would say yes.

Craziness. I mean, I dig opinions. But wow. Just wow that people are ever trying to compare Flacco and Rodgers.

I don't think that you're shocked about the comparisons.. Rather what people are saying. See this is how I compare them.

Rodgers and Watt>>>>>>>> Every other player in the NFL.

Rodgers >>>>>>>>>>> Flacco

Are you thinking of the QB Challenge?

Nah they used to do it where dline man and linebackers ran an obstacle course for time, WRs had competitions on the JUGGs, QBs would hit moving targets for points, etc...

They had a wide range of competitions for different position groups.

EDIT: sorry I see I'm late to the party... And didn't even bring any fancy YouTube videos.

Speaking of videos, just did some googling - looks like they had it up until 2007 at the pro bowl. I thought it was fun to watch those "competitions" like best hands, strongest man, fastest man, etc. It was actually more fun than watching the pro bowl itself.

Ravens would have 2 SBs if we had Rodgers the entire time. He probably helps the Ravens beat Pitt in the AFCCG back in Flacco's first year. I won't even argue Rodgers is much better than Flacco because its a fact. I like Flacco though because hes underrated.
