Next is touissant i think hes good and he can return punts thats a difficult cut there he can replace forsett if he goes down same style of play. And last imma say the whole wide reciver corp we been mediocore there for so long and now were too too deep alot of difficult cuts jermey butler campanaro marlon brown we cant keep em all it gonna hurt to see one of them go

Art saw the potential in Trestman in 89 so it's only citing he come back and be apart of this "DYNASTY" that's about to pop off! Yep!

While I think Trestman will not be looking to make dramatic changes to the offense we ran last year, he's going to put his mark on things. There will be players that were not often utilized last year that may find their number called more often. I really think one of those could be Brown.

I felt like Kubiak handled the offense very well, I'm not sure what prevented him from utilizing Brown around the goal and having SSS in there. Too often I saw Joe trying to squeeze the ball into small openings when targeting the 5'9" WR in red zone traffic. I'm hoping we can utilize Brown's size in those situations this year.

Well, you'll have an opportunity to get back at the Browns 2x a year ;) And no risk here that you would hear of a firing on the TV or at such an inappropriate time. That's what I value about this organization - fairness and tact!

This. I was thinkng either Marlon Brown and Juice along with more Justin Forsett. Juice just needs to learn to hold onto the ball and stop fumbling. Makes me nervous whenever he touches the ball. Marlon Brown , I think will take a big step this year. He knows the whole route tree by now and does(or did) have good communication with Joe. This was a great article by the way. One of the best I've ever read on this site. Edited by Moderator 3

Nice article, Ryan, I love the in-depth features you guys publish. Love learning new things about the guys / team. Especially in this slow season - I think I've got a handle on how the 2015 QB competition will break down lol.

lol no kiddin

Did you see the CFL game last night between Montreal and Calgary? Marc Trestman was featured on the broadcast. He was heralded by the announcers for his CFL accomplishments. Marc was so impressive. He proudly mentioned his new assignment with the Baltimore Ravens. Best wishes.

Trestman has a returning O-Line, a ton of weapons to work with, and the Big Man pulling the trigger. I can't wait to see this offense torch some teams. COUGH COUGH Denver...We need make Baltimore this Football journeyman's permanent home.

Also it saddens me that so many of these great coordinators always jump at the opportunity to become head coaches. I understand it from a financial perspective, but with the decision to move to HC come a much different type of responsibility that many are not built for. A head coach needs to be charismatic, disciplined, persuasive, and must be able to lead a group of highly paid young men. They must know what their identity is as a team and get everyone on board. The ability to multitask and manage an operation is crucial. It is an added workload that many are not comfortable with nor are then meant for it. And lastly you take on the blame when thing go wrong. Harbaugh is perfect for the role. But so many fail miserably.

I would rather be a coordinator for a successful organization where I have a large impact on the team, get to build long lasting relationships with the coaching staff, owner, GM, player personnel department, players and fans. To have security and know that work will be in my city next year for my family. Look at Kubiak. He left the best organization and support in the league for a QB on his last leg. When Manning retires he will be in the same boat as Houston, not knowing where to turn or how to get a rise out of his team. I don't think he is that fiery coach that can get his team amped up and prepared for games or get more out of players than they even knew they were capable of. Hopefully he has learned from Harbaugh, but I think these coordinators should really do their due diligence instead of just assuming that a Head Coaching job is the next stop.

Well Maxx Williams is staying. Pitta is most likely gonna be on the PUP List for the first 6 weeks of the season. Reason behind this was Pitta was not medically cleared for mandatory OTA's. With that being said he rushed back fairly quickly last year, and well we know what happened into the first month of the regular season. Now Gilmore is gonna be around. They got rid of Supernaw i believe and Nick Boyle is gonna be the second run TE with Gilmore. So with Pitta not taking up a spot on the roster due to the PUP placement it will be 3 TE's instead of 4 which is Williams, Gillmore, and Boyle in that order.

Touissant is most likely gonna be gone unfortunately i believe DEPENDING on how Campanaro works out. Heard he over-bulked up his hammy's (because of last year) and over did it that is why he injured himself in OTA's this year. I see Campanaro returning punts IF healthy.

Yes the WR corps has been not Medicore but DISMAL through the history of the ravens really. There has been some stand-out's here and there but nothing like our defensive players. And i mean that by we draft em, build em, train em, and they hang around for the duration of their NFL career. BUT with the release of Jones, Torrey Smith AND the tenure of Steve Smith SR coming to a end either this year or next, I see ALL the WR's we had last year staying WITH the addition of maybe 1 or 2. Right now it is Smith Sr, Brown/Aiken (can choose to put either 2/3 or 3/2) Perriman, Williams(can be utilized as a WR more then a TE) and with williams he can be counted as a WR spot even though his main position is TE. So that is 5 for a addition of possibly 1-2 more since we kept 7 WR's last year. Now can also make Williams ALSO as the fill in role for Daniels who left with Kubiak to help instill his system there in Denver, just like how he did here in Baltimore last season,

All in all I can see us keeping ALL the weapons from last year, WITH the addition of there being 4 TE's on the roster AFTER week 6. And mainly because that Williams can be essentially one person that can be used in 2 different positions. Instead of having a dedicated WR and a Dedicated TE. So Williams in essence I believe will HELP free up a roster spot due to the flexibility of having 1 person filling in 2 positions.

Anyhow just a thought. :)
