I see, thanks.

Yea feels like poor Truth is having to pick for eight different teams, my mind goes blank soon as I see him post like eight in a row, like it doesn't even want to contemplate trying to figure out where we are

You are on the clock.

CalvinSmoke is up. I figured it'd be self-explanatory since Sons_of_Eli, gabefergy, and LosT_iN_TranSlatioN all made their selections themselves and in proper order.

Good pick in Pekovic.

Ty. He fell off a little as a starter last year, but getting a big dude with an offensive game isn't so bad since he'd only play bench minutes with DMC there anyway.

Exactly. It's all about value at the point of the pick, and I thought this was a very good value pick. I was considering rolling with him over Nurkic.

Got you. I still recall who he posted by accident when he was out of turn. Wish I could post the pick on his behalf but there's a chance that he changed his mind so I'll defer to him.

Hahahahaha I actually legit wanted Nurkic here but since he was gone...

Ah, whew. That makes me feel better. I was torn because I figured he could fall into the next round and I wanted to nab another player and then hope that he'd fall, but knowing that, I feel relieved that I picked him where I did. I'm glad that somebody valued Nurkic as well.

I'm on my phone and I always mess that up because it's hard to get to the big board through mobile lol so I had to make sure

Pierce doesn't offer any upside for future years, but I believe he still has one or two more years left in him, as he signed a three year deal with the Clippers. My team lacked championship pedigree (Draymond Green was the only player on my team with a ring), and my players could use a mentor like Pierce. I'm sure his minutes will be limited this upcoming season, but he's still an effective scorer and truly loves the game. That's why he's still playing. He lives for clutch moments too, so he's a nice option off the bench in close games. Also, he's another shooter/scorer for Tyreke to operate with.

Good pick in Pierce. He was on my short list. Obviously a short-term rental but he provides immediately value and is definitely going to get looks in late game situations.

If I didn't already have Ariza I would have given Pierce a close look-in last time around.

Thanks. Definitely a short-term rental. Your roster (Duncan, Parker, Wade) actually came to mind when I realized I didn't have enough playoff experience/championship status. Needed an old head like Pierce in there.

You're set at SF with Parker and Ariza. Ariza is a great backup

Lol people love to neg my picks. Brandon Jennings is a 25 year old PG who is coming off his best season as a pro where he averaged 15 points and over 6 assists a game. Please tell me how that is a bad pick in the 10th round.

I mean, negs aren't necessarily the end all be all since no one in the thread is bashing it.... it could literally be a first time member begging picks because he wants to

I just upped it so it's at zero. Thought it was a solid pick at this point. The only reasons I didn't select Jennings were because of the Achilles tear and because of the shooting percentages, though the latter was almost exclusively because I wanted to offset Kemba Walker's FG%. I've upped every selection on the last page I believe. I'm suspect that it could be an outside member. I was in the thread about a day ago and saw a non-participating viewer, and once I refreshed, most of the picks were negged. Could just be a coincidence though.

I've only negged a couple of picks throughout the whole draft, as I usually let it rest or give it an up. Definitely not a bad pick in the 10th round, and like others said, it may be someone not participating in the draft who is negging

Yeah, the Achilles injury is a concern, but he is supposed to be on track to be back next season. I see him as a player who is starting to mature and come into his own, and I he will serve nicely as a back-up PG and scoring threat off the bench with upside. Seems strange for someone to come in and neg every pick, meh.

I agree with everything said. It does seem strange. It's just a theory at this point so I'm not sure what the motivation is.

I'm convinced it's an outside member. Everyone in this game seems to have their head on straight, so I have a hard time believing it's one of us. Just in general, negging picks is an insane concept to me in all the games on here. This game is completely meaningless.

Yeah, it's a cheap and meaningless way to criticise a pick, and completely ignores how the owner envisions the player in the bigger picture of their side. The last time I negged a pick was Johnny Manziel in the NFL game.

But if it's an outsider doing the negging, that's pretty weird in itself.
