PG: Jrue Holiday/Brandon Knight

SG: Klay Thompson

PF: Jared Sullinger

SF: Gordon Hayward/Luol Deng

C: Marc Gasol/Timofy Mozgov

Like I do every once in a while, someone want to tell me how my team is turning out?

Nice balance between scorers and defenders. Marc is going to prevent points in the paint and be dominant on the glass.

Sullinger is okay.

Hayward can flat out score and has improved defensively

Klay provides great defense and shooting.

Deng is a good player but injury prone.

When healthy Holliday is one of the better PGs in the NBA. Knight is a good backup but would defensively

Don't like him anymore but Rondo is too good to pass up on... My offense will change completely when he comes in for Westbrook...

Russell would also see some time at the 2 so they can play together in some rotations.

Pretty poor defensive unit imo, but you have guys that can score. My concern would be lack of shooting. Love is really the only spot 3P shooter, lots of ISO players.

I count rebounding as part of total defense. I like RW, Giannis & Otto's on ball defense.Giannis & Porter will only continue to get better... Now down low, not so much.

Really wanted an ice cold fox like Korver but I like my shooters... Love would be featured. Russell, Thomas & Porter can all shoot. Lopez can shoot for a big man.

Otto stepped up huge for the Wizards in the playoffs. Had him last year as well, like his potential. I think he fits my team well.... If only I knew I was on the clock though, Smart would've been mine. Probably only the 2nd time I've ever been skipped in these games.

PG: Russell Westbrook/Rajon Rondo

SG: Isaiah Thomas

SF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Otto Porter

PF: Kevin Love/ Tristan Thompson

C: Brook Lopez

I've got athleticism, rebounding, and a whole lot of scoring. I think my team defense would be above average. Not the best but as a whole, I like it. Otto & Thompson are nice players to come off the bench. Thompson would rotate between the 4 & 5 for me in certain lineups. Giannis is still only 20 years old, btw. Learning from Westbrook and Love would be perfect for him. Happy with how my team has turned out thus far.

I like it so far, but you need a true SG next to Westbrook. Thomas is one of my favorite players in the league, but that will not work. He's a definition sixth man.

Thanks but I believe in him lol

Freak & maybe Porter can also see time at the 2. Both have the potential but I understand potential doesn't mean anything until it's actually done... All the top SG's were gone so I figured lets just convert a scoring PG into one.

Since Everyone is doing it fine...

Current Roster Evaluation

PG: Chris Paul, D'Angelo Russel

SG: Bradley Beal

SF: Andrew Wiggins

PF: Paul Millsap Enes Kanter

C: Joakim Noah, Andrew Bogut, Enes Kanter

Chris Paul is running the show which is always a good thing. Yes, I only have one true three point threat at the moment in Beal. But he can shoot it. He needs to work on his mid range game. Wiggins is a potential superstar and is good at slashing and cutitng to the basket. Millsap can score from anywhere on the court. Noah is a great player on defense. He helps my offense with his passing ability for a big man. My offense is below average on offense but we play good defense. The weak link on my defense is Bradley Beal, who is by no means bad.

As for my bench. Russell is a risky one. He could be a bust but he's more than likely to develop into a solid scorer who will be a good passer and defender. Enes can score. But not play defense. Bogut can play defense but not offense. Both are excellent rebounders and Bogut is a good screener.

Millsap, Noah, Bogut and Kanter will make my team a force on the glass.

Overall, my team is rock solid across the board.

I just think IT is a guy who would be exposed on defense as a starting SG, especially without a dominant help defender. Westy is good on the ball, but really poor off the ball. Giannis is the best out of that group by far.

I think you have a lot of nice individual pieces, but I'm not sure if they all fit together.

Not exactly a spring chicken and he's starting to show signs of lost athleticism in his lateral movements. Not really a volume scorer, either. Turns the ball over more times per game than he gets assists. Struggled a bit with spot up shooters. Nasty on ball defender, sets great screens, strong offensive rebounds. I would have taken him over Bogut.

I can't disagree on the signs with regards to athleticism. That being said, I don't see the need for volume scorer to be a part of the repertoire for his style of play. You are correct in that he turns the ball over more than he dishes for the assist, but that's almost to be expected given his lack of passing ability. I see it as an added bonus for the position rather than a must. Neither DeAndre Jordan nor Andre Drummond scored more than 13 points last season, each nabbed double digits rebounds, and each had a worse TO ratio that Chandler. I'm not at all attempting to even the playing field between the three players in terms of where they stand. I'm merely attempting to point out that the points about volume scoring and AST/TO ratios haven't held Jordan/Drummond from being considered as top tier true centers. Agreed on the spot up shooting struggles.

I'll chime in and agree in that Thomas could very well struggle at SG defensively.

there's a couple of really good scoring shooting guards left... Pm if it really concerns you.

I remember a few picks ago I was debating kidd Gilchrist versus Josh Smith. I would be asking them to play the same role, I should have probably went with j smoove but Gilchrist is just such a gritty player. My kinda guy, but smoove is a steal to me at this point. Love the pick.

Thanks. I liked the MGK pick. He's a great slasher and athlete on the floor. When he goes up for a dunk, the defender might as well get out of the way. He has a lot of upside still, as he is still very young. Already an excellent defender. I like Smoove as a Versatile 4, and I agree that he is good value at this point. MGK can really blossom in these next years - maybe even next year - while Smoove has already reached his peak and accepted his job as a role player.

If the next selection isn't made within the next hour and 10 minutes, you'll be on the clock after the 6 consecutive skips in front of you.

I appreciate it. Like I've said a few times, not a huge NBA guy, so I do appreciate hearing people give me feedback

Thanks for heads up

No problem. Didn't want to see you get skipped again while you were active in other parts of the forum.

I swear I did a search - must have searched through the wrong thread.

Changed to next guy on my board, Euroleague MVP, Bjelica. This guy is a fine player. 6'10" with great ball handling and passing skills, great rebounder and blocker, very deceptive looking attacking the rim and solid scorer from distance. Wizards drafted him in 2010 and traded rights to Minnesota. I think he made a right decision to play in Europe for few more years, that experience should count for something.

Coming to Wolves on a 3 year deal. He could do it all in Europe, question is can he do some of that in NBA.

Wanted to get a backup center here, since Gortat was my only center on my roster. Asik is a pretty good role player. He is a very solid rebounder and a stout defender. His offensive game is basically lobs, easy layups, and putbacks, but that's okay. Also, he has chemistry with Tyreke and Gordon on my second team. If he can continue his role as a rebounder and defender, I'll be satisfied.

P.S. I am not a Pelicans fan, just find myself selecting their players haha

Happy to bring my boy Gallo on. I had him last year and he's a personal favorite.

He had a slow recovery from his injury, but he killed it after the break averaging 19 points and 5 boards with a 40 percent 3pt%.

I may start him and and bring Rose off of the bench.

Bounce bros reunited!!!!!!!!!!!

He's horrid defensively. But has developed a decent three point shot and can score a ton. His freakish athleticism off the bench gives me an interesting dynamic
