Not a fan of Okafors lack of defense but I will say he's got a fantastic post game

To me, his defensive issues are very overblown. Given he was surrounded by good defenders in Matt Jones and Justise Winslow, but teams shot just 58 percent in the paint while he was on the floor. He also has great size and the physical tools to become a good defender. Defensive rotations you can learn, but you can't learn his offense.

Gotta remember he was a freshman at age 19, one year out of high school playing on the biggest stage in college hoops. His defense will improve over time, in my opinion. As he matures and grows towards his full potential, his overall game will improve, and I think he will be a solid to great pro.

Yep - my pick is ready and I'll stay up, watching tennis.

Not following the cricket? I know it's kinda like watching the Patriots and Steelers, but still.

Nope - I absolutely hate that game. Can't decide if it's worse watching it or playing it.

Decided to go with Gordon here. While I was debating my pick, Markieff went - who was one of the players I was deciding between. I like the Markieff pick and was strongly considering him - but off the court issues with the assault situation concerns me slightly.

Gordon was elite from 3 point territory this season. After missing a stretch of games in January, he played well the rest of the season. He finished 3rd in 3 point percentage at 44.8% (2.3 made on 5.2 shots). I wanted to get a shooter at some point for my bench because Tyreke plays better when he is on the court with shooters. To get an elite one, who happens to be his teammate, is alright by me. He is injury prone which scares me, but when he returned from injury this past year, he adjusted his game (shot more threes), which I hope will help his longevity and durability season-to-season.

Russell dissapeared in big games but I'm giving him Chris Paul as a mentor. The perfect mentor for someone of his skillset. He's larger but similar in playing style. Paul has tread on his tires so an adaquate replacement is needed

Paul is definitely one of the best mentors to have at point guard. Russell will be solid pro long-term. He should have a nice rookie season too, even though the Lakers will suck.

He's got a big ceiling. Could be an all star

I think he could too, and most likely will. His size/length at point guard to go along with his skill set should translate well in today's NBA.

I like Russell a lot and he was on my board. He has an insane ceiling as many of you have said. I do worry about his ability to put it together at the next level, however. He seem to put up big stats against bad competition–OSU has the 328th toughest non conference schedule–but was absolutely abysmal against top defenses. It should be really interesting to watch his development, and if he puts it together he will likely be the top player in this class.

First team all defense baby (until they embarrass me by having _____ guard me and I have to ride the bench because I can't hit a jumper)

Cheers tho. Figured that at this point I may as well lock up guys with at least one elite level skill set. Rather have a guy that's truly great at one thing than a guy who's ok at best at two or three.

You are on the clock.

Carroll is a steal this late.

Thanks, I was surprised to see him available. He's one of the better two way wing players in the NBA.
