Got the picks in as soon as I got the green light from Ed_Reed20. Hopefully we can get some movement here.

Shoulda had Lebron but I'll settle with the mini version. :P

Debated between 2 other players...Decided to build a team around Russell because it will be funner than the other two. He's also BPA, so that made the decision easier.

Yall better change your names. My team is officially named Reserved

I've got a decision to make and I can't. Figured these 5 will go before me and I'm still not sure what direction to take.

I'll take that as a compliment - figured nothing wrong with taking the best center with my first.

Well. He fit the bill for what I wanted

So, I haven't actually contributed in a meaningful way yet, but I think Anthony Davis would have been my number one pick. You have to consider he's only 22 years old and he's eight years younger than LeBron. He doesn't have that versatility of LeBron yet, but he's certainly a very good combo big. He can shoot from pretty much everywhere but the three, he's got great defense that will only get better, he's a great facilitator with the ball, and he's an amazing rebounder.

I do love LeBron and he's my favorite player, but Anthony Davis was better last season and, again, he's eight years younger. If I'm building a franchise, it starts with Anthony Davis.

I have a feeling Jordan would fall to me at #8, too.

Yeah, very possibly. He would have gotten past me at least, and I'd wager gabefergy (who was initially at 7) would have taken Westbrook.

I'm not one to criticize picks a lot, but the DeAndre Jordan pick is a nightmare IMO

Yeah, personally Davis would have been my #1. But I can see the case for LeBron, considering he showed this season that you can put a complete dumpster fire around him and he'll still get you to the Conference Finals.

I think that'll be Davis in a few years.

He's certainly shown the potential so far. I'd take Davis for sure, but I wouldn't argue with either him or LeBron at #1.

I just think the age gap is big enough to where I'd take Davis number one for sure.

Yeah he was the guy I said in the other thread that I could go either way on. Comes down to whether you want to build towards the future or try to win now. Probably would have went LeBron just due to how good he was at the end of last year but Davis is a very young big man on the rise, can't really go wrong with either unless they hit a major injury or join the 49ers

Man, that's cold to even think about that.

That gif of DeAndre was the exact face I made when I saw he was picked this early lol

I've been a fan of his for awhile now but 6 is just too high for him.

Even if you are trying to win now, I think you can't go wrong with Davis. I just think he's that good at such a young age
