[News] What Maxx Williams Learned At NFL Rookie Symposium

19 posts in this topic

Good stuff to hear. Work hard Maxx, we can always use a stud tight end! Expect good things out of him; he does have the advantage of having his dad play in the league, so he knows more of what to expect and plan for.

I love to see our guys taking the time to write these articles themselves. Harbaugh's and Urschel's writeups still stand out to me as some of the best football articles so far this year.

Hard to believe this kid just became legally able to drink alcohol in April. Sounds like his dad has a huge influence in his life. I doubt he'll be getting into off field issues.

Man, I can't wait to see him on the field. I thought we would miss Owen Daniels, now I don't. Tight end could actually be a strength.

I hereby find the Baltimore Ravens guilty on every count for finding tremendous talent! Big Maxx Williams aka the BMW!

And he's so damn young! I can't help it. He makes me think of Heap.

on the field perhaps..but heap was a pretty shy and quiet guy

This guy sods mature beyond his years. I really hope he means what he says because he's definitely saying all the right things. I'm, also, very glad the players have this symposium as well. I sincerely hope that the financial advice given will be taken to heart by these guys and that we hear a whole lot less stories about players going broke after their careers. These guys have a very unique opportunity to lay the foundation for a financially successful life if they just act responsibly. My sincere hope is that the vast majority, if not all, of them take proper advantage of it. Now, back to football: show us what you got, Max!

On a side note: Noticed how Terrell Suggs was heavy. Maybe he should have been at the Rookie Symposium and take notes on nutrition. Now that Ray isn't there to take his burgers away, he fights his weight every year.

It's amazing we somehow snagged him in the draft. Glad he is on our team and not ....up north :) GO RAVENS!

Way to guilt trip me into thinking what I ate today :D Trying to eat clean running up to a big match. Drank some water just reading this :)

Glad we have Maxx. If the maturity he shows in his communication translates onto the field and football success, then we can look forward to a productive TE that will be able to last in the league and with the Ravens.

"This July I%u2019m really going to buckle down and focus on getting my eating habits right" JULY? If you don't have the discipline to do it now what the heck make you think your going to do it then? You in a position to make more money than most of the posters here combined and your WAITING to take care of your abilities. Go look in a mirror and ask are your serious about this!
