About time Harbaugh got some love from the media. The fact that our team has the ability to catch a second wind, and keep fighting at the end of the season speaks highly towards our HC

The only two coaches ahead of Harbaugh were New England's Bill Belichick and Seattle's Pete Carroll.

And Harbs should be ahead of Pete Carroll...... He should be coming in at #2

Not in favor of seeing Webb back there returning punts, interested to see how Carter does....I really thought we might have gone after Holiday when he was a FA, burned us on a KR, and PR in that Broncos game a few years ago....

I'd rather the Ravens fair catch every single punt all season long and still have Smith Sr. and Webb starting in the playoffs than them watching from the sidelines on crutches.

Agreed. I would of bet that Holiday was going to be a Raven. But then again, he went to LSU not Alabama. LOL

I always draft Flacco in my fantasy league - this year, I am going to reach for him.

Hope you have a lot of other good players on your team then, otherwise you're not going to do very well.

I like Asa, but I don't see him making the team. With Arrington and Up and comer Melvin, along with a new array of safeties, I don't see Asa on the team. Camp and possibly Carter i feel will be the returner, Possibly battling each other for a roster spot...

Re: Harbaugh rank - Its about time he gets recognized. Unlike Billick I don;t think he'll let it go to his head, but as a long time Ravens fan i know this team always seems to perform better when it feels it has something to prove.

Re: Webb doing returns - The uber fan in me says "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" remembering that it was kick returns that did him in 2 of his 7 seasons. However, I don't think he has the same impact as a secondary player as he once did and in his best years he benefitted greatly from having Ed Reed terrorizing QBs. Should he get injured on return duty a 3rd time I believe the team has several nice options on the depth chart who can fill in nicely for Webb at this point of his career.

same here. i also got really tired of wondering whether or not jacoby was going to muff the punts last year. that and making poor decisions to take the ball out of the endzone was really getting old. although the threat of him busting one open was always there so i was pretty torn.

Re: Osemele deal - Yanda and KO are both looking for good deals. One or the other will one and assuing that Yanda is good for another 4 years signing eiter is a "push". Having the both is preferrable, but will Flacco take enough of a restructure in 2016 to make that happen? Ozzie has worked miracles, but with Urcshel and Hurst, they may not need to overpay to keep both. Sad to say, but that's the nature of the biz.

crockett seriously looks like a beast.. and he sounds like the clear cut top TE right now

anyone thinking maxx williams might be having a "take notes" rookie year?

yes for the most part- maxx will definitely get his reps but if crockett keeps continuing to impress like i have been hearing they are going to go with the hot hand and the experience over the rookie with high hopes all day long.

Is it possible we could lose both Yanda and Osemele? It is a thought to consider. We would have to blow the bank on either to get them to sign. We can throw a franchise tag on one, probably Osemele since he is younger, but depending on how well they play, Uerschel and Robert Myers could be our starting guards next year. I know it is a thought that is hard to bear, but I definitely think it could be a possibility and a way to save cap space next year.

RE: Prediciting the offensive starting line-up - This season I think its the easiest in 2011 to predict the line up. The biggest questionmark is receiver and whether Pitta will be mediaclly cleared to play. I'm going out on a limb and guessing (b/c prediction is just a guess at this point) that Pitta will be cleared given his practices thus far and TE will be him, Gillmore, and Williams. Boyle's only chance is if they decide to carry 4 TEs in the 53-man roster OR Pitta becomes "unavailable". At Receiver they'l carry 6 - Smitty, Perriman, Aiken, Brown, Waller, and Camp. If Camp has not recovered then it will be Carter at least until he returns.

Anything is possible, but it's unlikely they let both walk.  They too damn good for Ozzie to let that happen.  Only if he's getting some major profit from that "loss" will he let that happen..

Before anyone starts to panic about Perriman's drops, just remember: Torrey reportedly dropped an awful lot of passes - with easier ones amond them - during his camp. And that was the big camp, in August, not the minicamp. And then look what happened to him...

im impressed, ive always liked crocketts supreme toughness and hardnosed style and sure hands, but i really expected him to be a journeyman catcher and elite blocker, im surprised to hear how well hes already doing as a receiver

Franchise tag isn't an option for either. Tag is going to cost at least $13M on a one year deal, which neither guard is even close to begin worth.

That's elite LT money, not elite Guard money.

Agreed. What is really hilarious to me is how all the "experts" always had Jim ahead of John in the rankings even though John beat him each time we played them, not to mention beating him in the SuperBowl. Now look at what has happened to Jim, back to college and really not a good word being spoken about him from either players or management. John has always been "The Man"!

.............waiting for jacket to chime in about how franchising a guard is not an option.  (lol which is true from what i understand)

Just say know Lardarius, just say no. Plenty of other players who need playing time and you need to just focus on corner and staying healthy bro.

"Starting cornerback Lardarius Webb made it clear Wednesday that he wants to be the Ravens starting punt returner." Mr Eggshell himself. Might as well have Joe Flacco returning kickoffs too.

I kinda get the sense that this teams mindset is Super Bowl or bust. As an overall unit, offensively and defensively I believe this is the best team Ozzie and Harbaugh have ever fielded.

I really doubt it. We will keep at least one. Ozzie won't let them both walk. I see us keeping Yanda and losing Osemele. It will suck because he is young, but Yanda is the best guard in the league and playing great football.
