I just saw his first post - pop up message likely means that restriction is time based - first 30 days mods check all the posts.

So long as he has the will to see it through, I'd have no qualms. I just vaguely remember a limitation from the admins about new members.

We would rather not, but there's no rule against it. We just find newbies seem to have a hard time adjusting to how we do things here, like the no foul language stuff and increase our "workload" with the queued posts and having to clean up inappropriate posts.

That's understandable and my biggest concern is also with regards to the inappropriate behavior. I've just reconsidered one individual who I was thinking about inviting because they could misbehave and that would reflect poorly on us. If we do end up inviting people to join the forum, we'll have to make sure that they're well aware of the set standards and are both able and committed to adhering.

Are you keen? You seem to know your stuff when it comes to the NBA and you were in the all-time game from last year (sorry again about Dave Debusschere!). It's a good way to pass the offseason if nothing else.

 

Sounds fun, but I don't spend enough time on these boards during this time of year to feel comfortable signing up. Wouldn't want to cause any delays.

True true, the more the merrier. If I recall correctly, we had 15 guys last year when we did this.
