[News] Late For Work 6/17: Terrell Suggs Softening His Stance On Tom Brady?

Still have absolutely no idea why LeBron is being compared to MJ. Not even for the reason that I don't think they're both great players, because they are. But mostly, because they're required and are skilled at very different things on a basketball court... don't think its that much different than comparing a center to a guard.

???LeBron can play the 4 or even 5 position against very small lineups, but, like Jordan, he is primarily a wing player who likes to play with the ball in his hands. Lebron handles the ball and creates from the perimeter much more than he catches it in the post, he takes a lot of jumpers, and most of his points in the paint come from drives, not post ups. The same was true with Jordan. He is far more like Jordan than a center. Jordan actually developed a very good post up game in his 30's, and recently, LeBron has developed a post up game as well. Jordan was a 2 guard, and LeBron is more of a G/F, but they're not that much different where they can't be compared.

I honestly don't care about Jordan. Jordan fans who live in the past are annoying. I was 5 or so when Jordan was in his prime, I don't care about how great he was because I wasn't watching. All I know is that LeBron is the best player since I've become a fan. Keep reminiscing and you'll miss what's in front of you.

You can make an argument that Lebron is the best since Jordan, but Campanaro said "greatest to ever live". You can't make use the word "ever" without looking at the past.

The only series he's played that he lost where he should've won was Mavs 2011.

So you must think that Adrian Peterson and Dez Bryant are the greatest RB & WR ever, Right? Cause Jerry Rice, Jim Brown, Walter Payton, etc are in the past.... And I guess you think JJ Hardy is the greatest SS the O's ever had too.....

I like our roster from top to bottom. The Sqeelers have a very dynamic and potentially a very prolific offense but their defense has more question marks then the riddler. Who is playing CB for them? How about Safety? Their entire defensive backfield is sketchy at best and a single injury there could be devastating to their season. They have LB's that are highly drafted but also highly unaccomplished. The have a DL with talent on the outside and weak in the middle. They have no depth on that DL or anywhere in the front 7. WHile I think their offense is very good... there defense is in the bottom 10 in the league. How could any reputable sports writer suggest that they have more talent then us as a team???? that is a joke.

steelers may be the most overrated team in the league, we've seen that when all of our defense is mildy  competent (week 2 and the playoffs of last season) we dominate them. Plus now their defense is terrible.

Suggs is as soft on Brady as he is around his mid-section. When the Ravens asked him to take a pay cut to stay, take another to get under the salary cap, they had to realize that the effort Suggs put forward is equal to the amount of money he is getting paid. Personally, the sooner they get Upshaw and Za'Darius Smith up to speed with Kapron Lewis-Moore, Brent Urban and the rest, the better the Ravens will be. Suggs came in basically saying he was in year 13, he wasn't putting anymore effort in than he had to and I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't end up "injured", missed a number of games and then retires. Football is clearly no longer a priority for him.

That's so damn rude to say! Suggs came back from an achilies injury faster than any other athlete I know. He played with torn biceps just to be a decoy and force defenses to double him. Hes regularly taken paycuts or restructured for the sake of the team. Took a home team discount in his prime! He's was one of the best all around linebackers according to PFF. The other outside linebackers that have played with him can all vouch that their best NFL year was because Suggs took all the double teams.

Your out of your mind for making such claims!

And whoever likes that comment is also out of his skull! I really like Z smith upshaw klm and the guys. But be real here. They are not even in the same class as Suggs! He's 32 not 52.

So why not compare him to Magic then, who unquestionably is much more comparable for his type of game? Still confused as to why he is even compared to MJ, when there's another great player with much similar skill sets that is significantly more comparable?

He literally had more assists than the rest of his team combined.

He literally out touched Kyrie by about 40% per game, and when Kyrie was injured, out touched the next guy by about 150% per game.

Just tough for me to say he is the greatest to ever live in this age's NBA. An undeniable talent though.
