I actually think we start out by beating Denver at Denver handily.

I agree except about the rookies needing to carry the load. I think guys that have been given chances the past couple of years need to step up into that WR2 spot early in the season and let Perriman develop at WR3. I

I think, in spite of them acting as though it's an open competition, that the job is Perriman's to lose at this point.  If he doesn't screw up royally in preseason he's the starter even if someone outperforms him in camp.  I think this for 2 reasons: 1) he's the first round pick and they've already seen what happens when they panic and try to replace a guy based on preseason with Torrey and Lee Evans (meaning if you draft a guy to be the starter, TC and OTAs shouldn't change that), and 2) more importantly, Torrey and Jacoby being gone makes us speed deficient when we've had a vertical receiver take part in almost every snap on the offense for the last 4 years.  I think it's just a different matchup issue when Joe has that deep threat, and I think it's something they're going to want on every play.  Maybe I'm wrong but I definitely think Breshad is currently being considered the de facto starter day 1.

12- 4 Divsion Champ.

I would swap the loss from the 49ers to the Cardinals.  Arizona has a good defense still and Carson should be still healthy at that point.  He's fared well against Baltimore.

I also think we beat Denver but we'll probably lose to like Miami or Pittsburgh in week 4 to balance that out

It pisses me off when I see people write us off against Seattle at home.

Yup.. Seattle is far from a guaranteed great team this year

They're gonna be good but not somebody who is an automatic L for us

I don't even know if that's true. They lost a few good players, but they also lost some really good coaches.

I use "good" as a basis for a possible playoff team..

Ah...I see yeah. I think that division is up for grabs and my money is on the Rams or Cardinals. I actually think the Cardinals have a really really good chance to win it.

Agreed but they remind me of the 49ers pre harbs.. That team that everyone expects to break out every year

But I think they could do it with Arians now..

You bring up an interesting point...what exactly is Juice's role in this offense? Don't really need him to block, we got Crockett. Don't need him as a pass-catcher out of the backfield, we got Allen. He's the smallest of our TEs. He is good on STs but Juice needs a niche to fill.

It's called fullback...

Kinda like a telephone landline...hardly exist in homes anymore.

Juice is going to eat this year. Watch

Hopefully he doesn't eat greedy. I've had enough of that. One guy is already doing enough of that for the whole team.

He has to improve ball security. Nineteen receptions with two fumbles lost.

Also fumbled in the playoffs but thankfully fumbled out of bounds.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Good lol

Oh, most definitely... I'm just betting on him entering his 3rd year to progress and have a huge one

The closet we get to the season, the less wicked our schedule looks. It's amazing what an off-season can do. For better and for worse.

Yea I agree that it's his job to lose, I just want someone else that's already in the system to step up and be a better player so he has the luxury of being brought along at a steady pace. I'd rather have two guys good enough be WR2 than two WR3's with one getting the nod because he's a first rounder, if that makes any sense.

Well if you're saying that, regardless of who is where on the depth chart, that numbers 3-6 or 3-7 see more snaps and more opportunities, I absolutely agree.  I think the best way for any player to get better is to play meaningful snaps, so the more you get guys on the field the better they'll be for you at the end of the year.

Yea I think that applies to guys like Perriman but if I see another season of Marlon Brown inexplicably disappearing for extended stretches I'm not going to be happy. I really would like to see Brown or Aiken fight for that #2 spot and actually play well enough to deserve it. I am admittedly more optimistic about Aiken than Brown just because the sample size (with the Ravens) is smaller and thus I see more room to grow. Regarding Brown, I think our standards as a fan base for receiver play/development are very low. To me, when you're a 6' 5" WR that makes the 53 on a team without elite receiving talent and have Joe Flacco throwing the ball, I don't care what system you're in, there should be no scenario where you're a healthy scratch. Especially true if you're a second year player with a full offseason under his belt.

So here's hoping one of them steps up to the plate to take some of the pressure off of Perriman.

I am hoping for another Super Bowl win!!!

I am expecting at least a playoff berth for the Ravens.

I know our guys will come out to compete every week a lot is going to come down to how our younger guys progress but With the veterans and coaches we have I really dont think we have too much to worry about.

That's how I'd had said it also... Hope for superbowl and expect the playoffs. Man, it's nice to root for a team that we expect to be in the playoffs each year :-)

Seattle is probably better than every team we've lost to at home in the past 2 years.

So why you mad?

I think Flacco will win MVP, Maxx OROTY, Jimmy DPOY, and the Ravens finish the season with another Super Bowl for Joe!

Won't Tucker kick a 75 yd field goal while you are at it?? ;)

The last time we lost to the Cheatriots and was close, we came back the following year to win the SB. So why should it be different this year??

I fail to see how that's true. I don't think they're better than any team we faced in the past two years. I think they're very overrated by many people. They're not a bunch of bums, but they're coming here to our house and I think our chances are great at beating them. I think we have a better shot at beating them than they do us.

I said Seattle is better than any of the teams we LOST to AT home over the past 2 years.

We lost to the following teams AT home the last 2 years; CIN, SD, GB, NE.

IMO, SEA is better than all of them.

Well I guess I didn't read that closely, but after going back and checking I still think it's debatable. We lost to the Packers in 2013 and I think the Chargers were a good team last year. We also beat the Texans at home in 2013, and that was before they sucked.

I think your opinion is debatable. I just strongly disagree. I think we beat the Seahawks. The only way I see them beating us is if we have key injuries to critical players
