sounds like someone has to make some tough calls this season in regards to receivers... don't envy making those decisions.

He may end up like a kid that got his candy stolen if he doesn't make the final cut. That being said he has a legitimate shot.

Definitely going to be some tough decisions...I see the Ravens keeping 6-7 receivers depending how the returner positions play out. Smith, Sr, Perriman, Aiken, and Marlon Brown are locks to be on the roster. Waller is very likely as he is a draft pick. That leaves 1-2 spots for everybody else (of course barring injury)--everyone else being Campanaro, Butler, Carter, and the very long shots of Daniel Brown, Aldrick Robinson, and Cam Worthy. Definitely some very intense competition. May the best men win and have the honor of being Ravens! GO RAVENS!!!

JB at the number 1 or number 2 spot? You must be trippin bro- he would have to come a lonnnng way to even get to the #4 spot on this depth chart with some of the guys we have in the mix this year.

In my opinion if we weren't so thin in the "slot receiver" position, Camp would be gone. This hurts as I love the guy and I think if he stays healthy he can definitely figure into any teams rotation, but we seem to be deep at WR. Locks are SSS, Perriman, Marlon, my guy Kamar Aiken and Waller. Unless Camp shines in training camp and stays healthy, I think we go with Butler and Deandre. Deandre bumps out Camp being the same mold of player and his ability to return kicks. Therefore I see us keeping 7 receivers.

Butler is awesome, I thought he was better than Aiken last year until he got hurt, can't wait to see the first depth chart.

Did you come to this opinion based solely off Butler's limited performance in training camp?

I think the cuts to get us down to the number of receivers the team decides to keep will be the most difficult to make. I think that Campanaro has an insane amount of talent. That being said, I think that I have actually come to the point where I almost consider his chances to make the final cuts to not be that good. I'll say this, if he suffers even One more injury, even a slight one, I think he's gone unless the team decides to put him on IR and tries to Somehow turn his, what appears to be fragile, body into a more durable one. No matter How much ability a player has it does him no good if he cannot stay on the field. I'm really pulling for the kid, but he just Has to find a way to stay healthy, PERIOD!

This wide receiver competition is going to be fun to watch and we fans have a front row seat. In the words of former Raven Bart Scott "Can't Wait".

With all this talent at WR, we can expect the top 4 to be playing at a very high level. That's good news for Joe and the offense. It also gives us a little comfort zone in case of an injury or two. Can't wait to see Perriman in action.
