I'm no expert here.. But I would think a tenth of a second could be a difference of simply which runner comes out of his stance better. Plus you have to consider how they run with pads on. Some players are good at running track- and others are fast on the football feild.

Boy I cant wait for preseason, watching these rookies in action is going to be great, it just feels so weird not watching football on sundays, it kinda makes you feel naked or lost.

I know what you mean.  I taped a bunch of games from last year and I've been reduced to re-watching them.  At least I am re-watching the ones we won LOL.  I know, I know . . . "get a life" I can hear them saying.
