[News] Late For Work 6/10: Can Joe Flacco Really Play Into 40s?

38 posts in this topic

As durable as he has been I wouldn't doubt it. But we"ll see how he holds up when he gets up there to 35+ Keeping a strong offensive line will go a long way to help. Will be interesting to see how long Big Ben lasts. He has taken a lot of nasty hits over the years. From us in particular.

Dameshek is a Ravens hater, and especially Joe. He commented on his article that "Joe has been atrocious at times". That kind of talk is not professional of a "NFL Analyst".

The Upshaw sack that was taken away is a slight, especially as it's one Big Ben is not like to forget. No worries, Upshaw, do it again, it's your stat to claim and grounding Steelers QB is the thing to do!

"...Joe Namath's oft-forgotten fade into the sunset with the Los Angeles Rams," wrote USA Today's Jim Corbett...

------

FADE?

I recall reading that Namath never beat another team with a winning record after January of 1969.

Somebody needs to have their head examined ranking Joe and company 17th. That's NFL.com and NFL Network for you. Shows only games Ravens have lost. I quit watching that excuse for a football show.

Steve Smith is everything I love about football. I am angry, literally angry, that he didn't spend his entire career in Baltimore. I hope we get that man a Superbowl ring so maybe he'll retire in purple--5 or 10 years down the road.
