Problem for Elam is you don't tackle in the OTAs. I sure hope he is getting the mental reps correct and taking the right angles to make the tackle but he still has a lot to prove come August and September.

Very true, hopefully he's learned to keep his head up, drive through his target and wrapping up.  The NFL receivers are stronger and savvier than the college receivers he thinks he's still playing.

Joe Flacco will make Waller and Perriman stars in the NFL. We can rotate 6 WRs and keep them all fresh. This is the best and deepest group of WRs we have ever had. I feel great when any of them are on the field. Putting Waller (6'6"), Gilmore (6'6"), and Brown (6'5") on the field with Perriman will create so many mismatches that Flacco will have his pick of open receiver. Replacing Perriman with Williams (6'4) in the red zone will create nightmares for the defense. This offense should be the best in Raven history.

And you if Flacco has a probowl year this time then the media and the whole nation will just say it's bc he has a great defense and a good supporting cast like they always seem to say. Only real raven fans know that if not for flacco and Ray rice their first couple of years together then team probably would have been terrible. We had an average line and a average defense. We had small possession wrs until Torrey was drafted. Now we have top 5 offensive line, outstanding young wr that are tall and have speed, and a defense that if the secondary can stay healthy can turn out to be a top 10 defense. Not to mention top 5 special teams. This is the best group of guys we have ever had. Used to just be spectacular defense and subpar offense but now we are loaded everywhere.

Our o-line had better protect Flacco all season. I don't have much confidence in Matt Schaub with these interceptions during OTAs. He's HAD a very good career and despite his experience his arm and confidence is dead, thus his career is too!

One article says our secondary looks great, the next says the receivers look great. I don't know how BOTH can look great at the same time. Hope they are right anyway!

That is a great observation :D

WR Perriman should let it fly ( like Torrey did) and design plays to run under the ball for the catch. He needs to learn to get the DB where he wants him. Smith Sr does it. Strength and the right to go after the ball.

10 players mostly veterans going after 5 spots in our secondary.  Our secondary. It has to look good.....I'm more concerned about where these DB's go when Ozzie is forced to cut them. Go offense. Let it fly.

I wonder how Maxx is doing, I haven't heard much about him so far, it's kinda disappointing when I don't hear the praise for him everybody else is getting, hopefully he's doing alright. Shaub has been throwing a lot of int's, probably not used to this level of toughness and grit that comes from a team like the ravens and a city like b-more.

He's doing well.  He was part of the presser yesterday afternoon...  Young, excited and showing real potential.

By the way....  where's the video of Breshad's "skied TD pass"?  Been looking for it.

Loaded with DB's....We have 10 players mostly Vets after 5 spots and I'm more concerned about where the players who do not make the team go. Teams are waiting.....Ozzie will be forced to make moves. These moves may be critical to our season.

The Broncos play a different style, but to start the season in the Denver is scary. It didn't go well for the team in 2013, but this is a completely different offense. If these young players are as good as advertised it could be one of the best games of the season.

Arizona is dangerous because they have such a good defense and we have to travel to the west coast to play them. At least we are playing Seattle and Kansas City at home. And if our secondary is healthy they should beat both of them.

My guess is they're just taking turns showing their greatness.

Yeah, when our top 2 TEs were Ed Dropson and Dallas Clark (who dropped a wide-open TD before the end of the first half).

Perriman has to get a game catch because Joe passes in practice are like night and day when the game is on the line! Ask TJ Houshmandzadeh and Anquan Bolden! Rite thru their hands! Lol

I'm hoping to see Perriman getting behind corners and safeties in games like I hear he's doing in practices. That would be great for the rest of our receivers and tight ends!
