I honestly like being underratted and under the radar. That way we can keep those bandwagon fans away. If I see someone Rocking Purple anywhere in the world, I know they are True Raven Fans. We dont need medias reapect, all we need is the opponent to respect us after we leave the field.

Perhaps it's flattering to have some pundits giving the Ravens pre season props. However, I don't trust that most won't revert to the annual sport of ripping the Ravens to shreds at the first sign of any weakness or imperfection. Will see if any pundits will maintain their confidence in the Ravens and are still on the bus by mid season if we have any bumps in the road. Meanwhile, the Ravens will once again persevere and battle our way back to the playoffs regardless of whether the pundits love us or hate us.

God bless Torrey but that play should have been a touchdown. Look up Joe's reaction after the INT on youtube. I will remember that play just as I remember the Lee Evans drop or the 'Cundiffed' field goal.

I want to relay a story about the 'RAVEN'S' organization,yesterday I had problems signing into my account,i'm an older guy so i'm not real computer savy,I wasn't sure what to do so I called the RAVEN'S,they put me through to the IT dept.got a voice mail,so I said well, I guess i'm on my own.well 10 minutes later my phone rang and it was the head of I.T,she let me talk to 'DAVE',and of course it was a problem with my computer,he didn't make me feel stupid,he went on to get my problem fixed,a really great guy,I was so suprized that my little problem was important to them.I wanted to give a shout out to 'SUPER DAVE'in I.T,and his BOSS,the whole RAVEN'S organization is a winner in my book,top to bottom,and they really do care about their fan's!real class act.

2012 We hosted the Colts in Playoffs, I believe that was the last time. The rest have been all on the road. Didn't make playoffs 2013, 2014 on the road.

Oh please just cut it out with the Torrey Smith snide remarks. He is no longer with the team which should make you very happy. He certainly did not lose the game for us. We had many points ahead a couple of times and could not hold it. This was a team loss pure and simple. Just move on please.

Hasn't really been that long actually. Won the division in 2011 and 2012.

 

So two of the last four years, and two of the last three times we've been in the playoffs, we've won our division and hosted a playoff game.

 

What I didn't realize, looking back now, is the Ravens have literally never hosted more than one playoff game in a single season. 2006 and 2011 were the only seasons where we got a bye in the first round of the playoffs.

To the Ravens being ranked no.1 by King, to me it says on Paper if healthy.with our players and Coaching etc... Ravens are

the best team in the AFC and a SB favorite....they must go do it NOW! Like king stated two 14 point leads in Foxboro a healthy Jimmy Smith away from another RING!

Just to make sure there's no misunderstanding here...

 

There's zero guarantee that we win in Indianapolis if we beat the Patriots (particularly when they already proved they could beat us once) and there's certainly absolutely, unequivocally, ZERO guarantee that we would beat the Seahawks in the SB.

 

Why people continue to think that beating NE would have guaranteed us a Lombardi is beyond me. Still had to twin two more games against incredibly tough teams. If we had lost either of them, it would have surprised nobody.

I agree with florida loves ravens stop it with the torrey comments because it was all on him or did you not see the wide open kamar aiken for the shorter throw not only that those were big db's squeezing torrey between them how can he do anything if his momentum is going forward and he can;t stop to defend it was in some way joes fault for throwing it there too early but nonetheless it is a team loss not just on one person unlike the lee evans catch

Just out of curiosity... what percentage of the people that watch the videos on this website would you see are hearing impaired?

 

Surely you understand that in order for the Ravens to invest money in doing something like that (which is probably not cheap), there has to be a significant demand for that product correct?

We all know it does not mean anything how they rank the Ravens. The only thing that means anything is Wins and Losses. It is nice to be shown some respect thats something the Ravens dont usually get shown. It is going to be a fun season to watch. We are going to get to see a lot of young careers get their start this year.

I think it's pretty cool,far better than the "flick of their noses" disrespect we usually get from the media. But....it is preseason. I alway looked at power rankings as something to make other teams feel good about themselves after the Ravens beat them I don't need Peter King to tell me the Ravens are a top notch team...We all know they are, every year, whether the media admits it or not.

 

One really cool side effect of this power ranking is that the band wagon Steelers fans down here in Northern VA are either furious, or already jumping ship. I saw a Ravens bumper sticker placed over a Steelers bumper sticker on the back of a car. If I wasn't driving down 495 I would have snapped a picture of it. It was either a Ravens fan being creative, or a new convert LOL. Either way, it made me laugh when I saw it.

Are you telling me a Poltergeist is responsible for this mystery? Or do I suffer from temporary insanity only when I go back to the Byrne article? Or is my computer stupid (not me of course).
