Aiken, Aiken and Aiken. I repeated his name just so that everybody memorizes that name when they think Ravens WR!

It's no doubt in my mind that Kamar Aiken will be the next guy we hear about. I think Aiken had good showing of what he can do last season. He stepped up when he had to and became a trustworthy receiver for Joe. I also think that Aiken will be used a lot like Jacoby Jones when he was with us. Aiken fits that mold of returner/receiver. With Steve Smith Sr., Marlon Brown, Breshad Perriman, Kamar Aiken, Jeremy Butler, Waller, and Carter, I'm not as worried about the injuries as I would be if we didn't have depth at that position. I must say though the injury bug is biting early and I hope he's done with us.

Cant rely on him. Can't plan with him. Carter's the better choice due to having similar skills but higher durability.

Such a good group of receivers on the roster, somehow the Ravens need to keep triple S' replacement around for when he retires next season.

Next year: Aiken, Brown, Butler, Camp, Carter, Perriman & Waller.

Hmmm, maybe we keep 7 wrs this year.

Not Butler, he'll stay on PS

Kamar Aiken will be the number 2 receiver barring injury. Everyone talks about Breshads measureables but Kamar is 6'2" 218 pounds and runs a 4.45 40. This guy and Breshad will be the future 1 and 2 for this team with Campanaro playing the slot if he can stay healthy. Our offense will be top 10 this year and the defense will be top 5. Superbowl 50

We all remember how headlines stated how Thompson (the speedster) was impressing last season and he didn't make the team. Other receivers, in previous years got summer attention too and didn't pan out. I'll wait on judging since it's still so early. However, the articles are interesting reads.

1) There is no TE battle...we'll carry 4, its not like that an unusual thing to do

2) As much talking up we've been doing regarding Carter it is far from an easy stash, especially if he backs it up in the pre-season

3) Camp already got injured as well, that goes some way towards settling it too

The Ravens have only carried 4 TE, once in the last 15 years and no team in the NFL has carried 4 TE since the Packers in 2011

The way Pitta is practicing, and if he is cleared, there is no reason for him to go on the PUP list if he can continue to practice the way he has been....If he is running routes, his hips are getting a good workout from all the cutting in his routes...I don't see us having a choice but to carry 4 TE's if he can go...We have to have insurance, and we can't afford to IR Boyle, or afford him getting claimed on waivers if we try to sneak him onto the PS...JMO....

Check out the video that just got posted of pitta practicing. Who's counting him out now? I'm sure there's still a few of you hardheads out there.

we usually carry 3, its not an insane stetch of the imagination that we'd carry one more. Sure we've carried 4 once but every single other year we carried 3 but god forbid we keep one more.

we will without a doubt keep 4 unless Pitta suffers a setback or makes a decision to take some more time.

Exactly, Pitta is safe from being cut, the dead cap would simply not be worth it. Ozzie doesn't cut rookie draft picks and Gilmore has proven to be worthy of spot. Nobody is in jeopardy of being cut in that group.

The video only shows him back at practice and nothing else. It does not prove Dennis can make it to or through the season without re-injury; it's a wait-and-see situation.

just the fact that he is out there running, cutting, and catching passes is a big deal to me. i know theres still alot of time until the season, but thats the thing, if hes doing that much now i have no reason to believe he wont be ready to go come september unless heaven forbid theres a setback. but hes out there slam dunking balls over the goal posts  and catching passes from flacco, id say thats huge progress.

I agree, it is huge progress to be back at this time. Actually, the hip injury may be a question throughout the remainder of his career for some as it is likely perceived as a weak point. Regardless, the TE and WR positions are interesting.

ok here is some inside scoop for you all..

Waller is a TE not a WR. He doesn't run WR routes. He is a project and will be very good down the road. He will be a PS guy or stash to IR.

Carter has been over hyped. Not an NFL caliber WR or return guy. Camp body..

Butler is a monster. He is our best WR and you will all see this during TC.

Injuries are a part of the game and Campanaro has been snake bit but the training staff got him right last summer and when they do it again this summer he will be fine. He is our best punt returner and best slot. Talent trumps everything and when his talent is back on the field he will be considered a lock again and a fan favorite..

"Butler is a monster."? Has a ever taken an NFL snap? Wasn't he here in 2013, when we barely had any good WR's? How do you know he's good?

Carrying 4 TEs isnt the best idea. We need roster spots for other positions. And i dont see any of the 4 TEs playing on ST.

I believe one of the TE's can long snap  ;)

How do you leave Aiken off your list? He's made the most noise of all the WRs so far (not including SSS) and he played well when he was on the field last year.

I like Aiken but I don't hold him in the same regard as the other two.  Permian I just have high hopes for
