NOICE

Supposed to be set in Boston, right? Fallout 3 was awesome, I know New Vegas was essentially exactly the same but I haven't been able to get into it in the same way.

Yeah, its probably Boston and the surrounding area just like how Fallout 3 was DC and parts of MD.

I have been a Fallout fan from the very beginning on PC and will certainly be getting this. Having said that, The Witcher 3 has really set the bar high. I finally finished my first playthrough of that game last night at about 135 hours and I'm dying to start a second playthrough. No Fallout game has hooked me like that because the main story in Fallout games has always been its greatest weakness to me. That has to be improved upon in this one. It can't just rely on the allure of exploring an awesome huge open world anymore.

Evidently the player is voice acted in this game. So at least its a step in the right direction.

Huge fallout fan, I've played them all.  Only problem is that I don't have a next gen console, and there's no way my PC will be able to handle it.

Sold my PS4 in September of last year. Have been contemplating picking one up again just for Fallout 4 and the Witcher.

Well, any thoughts yet?

I got the xbox one 1TB bundle.  Haven't even gotten to Boston yet, but think it's pretty awesome.

This game is AWESOME!! Definitely  pick it up!

This game sets the bar. It's better than Skyrim, which I loved playing that game.

I played Fallout 3 and this game picks up over its shortcomings.

Better dialog sequences. You get to see your character talk (i.e. Mass Effect). You definitely feel connected to your character and the other characters you meet. AI is smarter. They will go look for you.

Yup, I agree!  I like it better than Skyrim too.  I was starting to think I was the only one on this site playing it.   lol

You're right, Fallout 3 and New Vegas were great, this has improved on those.

Do find it odd that they got rid of the karma system....

Nope, haven't tried psychobuff.  I could make it though.  I've got over 50 hours into it so far, and just got to Diamond City.  There's just so much to do.    lol   So I haven't met many of the companions yet.  I've basically been running around building up settlements and doing the minute man quests.

Definitely try Psychobuff! Great in the hot situations. Love the verbiage too!

I haven't done the settlements much. I should. Easy way to level.

OK, next time I play I'll make some phychobuff and give it a try.  Probably could have used that in the battle I had with a savage deathclaw.....

Building up the settlements is pretty cool.  It's a nice addition to the game, building stuff is actually kind of addictive.

Yeah, sadly I know people who are barely even into the game because they've spent all there time building up their settlements.

Tried the psychobuff today.  Made short work of that room.

Very potent stuff.....

ok anyone playng on xbox one ? I need a review if its worth it or wait till some more patches come out?

Yes, I'm on xbox one.  Haven't had any problems.  Have you read that it's glitchy?  Guess I got it about a week after it was released.  So there probably were some patches already.

I have a little over 20 hours so far on Xbox one, no issues so far, even when I switch to the TV app on my Xbox for long periods and return still no freezes or game breakers or any glitches for that matter. Its my first fallout game and It's a great game I highly recommend.
