Uh-Oh, the big 30! It's all down hill from here! :-)

We've got at least another 5 or more years with Joe and that's fine with me!

Look at the numbers, 39,37,36 etc.. Flacco has another 8-10 strong years, and at this rate I said it before I'll say it again when its done he will own virtually all playoff win record, with another SB Ring or 2. Only locking up his HOF Resume even more

And at the end of the day he won't because in the media's eyes his team "carried" him then they praise Russell Wilson. It makes no sense to me but if the media does not like Flacco he won't go into the HOF unfortunately.. Sad truth.

This is depressing, I just realized (as I obviously never gave this a thought) I'm old enough to be Joe's dad. Ugh !

Joe looks more mature this year in the way he handles the presser, more self-confident. He still has the same 'aw, shucks' style but somehow it looks like it's coming from someone who has been around a while and knows the ropes. He'll be fun to watch, as usual.

He's at the age that he's coming around, knows how to play his position and,... happily, isn't as "go deep" happy as he used to be! ^_^

Yeah, it's me,... nope, not captured and replaced by aliens or body snatchers!  :34853_shakehead:

Flacco is the youngest elite QB in the NFL.

i think andrew luck would beg to differ, however im not so sure if he should be ranked as elite yet.

Andrew Luck has been flooded with recievres and he still cant deliver but Lets look at what each QB did against New England , In Foxboro with the season on the line. Since its the same team so its a fair comparison and its in the playoffs Where Elite QBs should deliver.

 Luck

 12/33

126yards 3.8avf 0Tds 2Ints   17.7QBR 23.RTG

 Flacco

28/45

292YARDS 6.5avg 4tds 2ints   85.7QBR 92.1RTG

Get Outta here.

for his age he has put up impressive numbers, and he did just knock off peyton in the playoffs-although he hasnt won anything substantial yet. i never said he was elite, i said HE would beg to differ

However he definitely has the potential to become elite, they didnt get rid of manning for nothing.

Manning was done last postseason...  and a much OLDER Manning at that...  I mean the guy has ONE playoff win...  Flacco has 11 and a SB and  they still hesitate to call him elite...  Eli has 2 SB wins and they still hesitate to call him elite....  Not everyone that wins a playoff game is elite...  They may be Franchise worthy... but far from elite.

When did Joe get so handsome? He's got a chance at playing in his 40s, if mentally he keeps getting better and better and stays as durable as he is now... seriously, worst I've seen him physically, he wore a knee brace for a game, but still suited up and played. Can't wait for the season to start just to watch him be perfectly stoic and throw hail Marys in Q4!

Joe will likely play into his 40s without ever missing a game. That's just how he's built. He's already 6th all-time in consecutive starts for QBs. Though, he's roughly only halfway to breaking Favre's record.

Yup. Mom Gene I said it before and I truly believe it Luck is more like peyton than people seem to think. Really good in the regular season and average at best in the post season.

Pocket-passing QBs age kind of like pitchers in baseball. They tend to hit their stride in their mid-20s and play effectively well into their 30s, even early 40s.

Joe's best years are definitely coming in the next 5 years. His first 5 years we relied more on the Defense and Run Game while Joe threw the deep ball and managed the game, and since Ray and Ed have left we have focused more on the Offense and are building around Joe. He has 1 or 2 more rings coming...

Joe just gone prove the crictics wrong again. Like he always do. They gone always doubt Joe. Thats the fun thing about it. I think Joe likes when they dont give him a chance. So he can show them he's one of the best QB's in the league. He done it time in and time out. He got a super bowl ring and super bowl MVP. So it's really ant nothing else he gots to prove. The only thing I gots to say is. Keep doing what you doing Joe. You on the right path. You having a solid career. In it's only going to get better. So go Joe Flacco/Ravens Nation baby.
