[News] The Caw: Joe Flacco Is A Beast At Ping-Pong

21 posts in this topic

Tucker is surely having fun jabbering about his ping pong conquests. Toot toot. Seems like what Tucker enjoys most is the chance to try to rile Joe up......patience, Joe....patience...Maybe Joe will be do his own self-toot interview after his payback victory. Can't figure out whether Tucker is trying to provoke like an irritating little brother or giving us his best Richard Sherman imitation. Either way, love the smack talk Justin. Make him pay for it Joe.

Joe Morgan, the ex-baseball player and announcer, said that he played ping pong before every ballgame because it helped his hand/eye coordination.

Nothing wrong at all with the players having fun playing games, no need to explain, if people don't get it, well, that is their problem, players despite God given skills are human and like to have fun just like the rest of us. As far as tooting your own horn, be careful, someone will eventually come along and shut down that toot. lol :)

What's with all the negs? All athletes play other sports besides the ones they do for a job, if not you get burned out and then you won't have the desire to keep playing that sport. I'm just happy that our quarteback's other sport is ping pong with a low risk of getting hurt. Better than hockey or Rugby.

Somebody put negs down almost a whole page last week. Did somebody do that again and you tried to fix it? Or what? Annoying if that happened again

Old saying "all work and no play" etc. Nice that the players have fun on and off the field. The season I am sure is very stressful at times so why not enjoy while you can. Absolutely nothing wrong with this at all. Go Ravens.

Happy Memorial Day to all. Our heartfelt thanks and eternal gratitude to all who have made the ultimate sacrifice, from 1776 on, to keep this a free country and the greatest on the planet earth. Their sacrifices shall never be forgotten and may all rest in eternal peace.

Games like ping pong and cornhole are great at building team chemistry. I loved reading stories about suggs raggin on the offensive and special teams guys last year over cornhole. These players have a lot more stress than I think people realize and it's great to be able to blow off a little steam and become a closer nit team at the same time. I'm all for it.

Would love to see a tape of those two playing a game, what Tucker said Is true, Ping Pong does help to loosen your mind up some to help you focus better, I use to be a pretty good player myself back in the days, now only if I had someone to play with, People tend to avoid me these days, I'm guessing no none wants to lose.

I used to be a really good table tennis player, that's what we professionals call it (lol)! However, after the rules changed from 21 points to 11 and also to different colored rubbers on the paddle, I kinda got bored and gave up! Did I just divulge how old I am??

That picture of Flacco and Tucker on the ping pong paddles reminds me of Terance and Phillip on South Park !

Something that I would love to watch. The NFL Players Ping Pong Championship. With players from many teams wanting to compete. No better game for hand eye coordination. It would fill an arena with screaming fans. I bet Tucker would win it.

Amen, brother! We all like to talk about our favorites on the field in the game of football, but the men and women we're talking about, and honoring, here are really True HEROES. All year long, not just during the Memorial Day weekend, I Never miss the opportunity to thank Every person I see either in uniform or wearing a hat or shirt identifying themselves as a veteran. I stop what I'm doing and walk over to them, thank them for their service, and ask if I can have the honor of shaking their hand. It's always easy to recognize the fact that they appreciate that. I've always had the greatest respect and gratitude for our current and former service men and women. I'm not sure what prompted you to bring this up here on a football forum, but I'm glad that you did. May God bless All our military service members. Every one of them are really heroes and we all owe them so, so much. Thank you for your post.

They should do a Ping-Pong with the Stars reality show. Each episode they have a Ping-Pong tournament and at the end you have to beat Tucker for the championship.

Raven Maniac#7... Thanks for your kind words. I felt it was the least one could do to express one's deep respect and gratitude for the sacrifices our military have made over the history of our country. Their sacrifices have allowed us to continue to post here and other places and I also thank them personally for their service and putting themselves in harms way to keep this country free and beholden to the principles set down by our founding fathers. All the Best to you, my friend.
