With all this talent in the wide receiver and tight end groups it's difficult to see how any one specific player will get huge numbers in catches or yards gained. Joe may easily get over 4,000 yards passing but this will be split into at least 8 players, not to mention the running backs' receptions. I think the key will be how well the O-line keeps pass rushers off Joe and how mobile the offensive scheme will let Joe be in avoiding sacks.

The "John Simon conundrum" is certainly a concern for the WRs this year. Any time you rotate guys off the practice squad in a given week to take advantage of their talent and skillsets against that particular opponent, you risk a needy team plucking the PS-ed guys away. Gonna hafta be careful with guys like Waller.

Trying not to be overly optimistic but I can't help but anticipate great things from the offense this year. Always love a tough defense here in Baltimore but to add a dominant offense would blow my mind with excitement. I know we have a lot of young players but I also think we have the talent and potential  to achieve at a very high level.

I love are uniforms especially the black ones, but man that design looks amazing. The wet black sleeves look like armor and I love the helmet with the gold face mask and purple going down the middle. At the end of the day I don't care if the ravens go out there naked so long as they win games.

Man I've been a ravens fan since day one and can't ever recall having the "too many" WR and TE problem I must be dreaming, what are we ever going to do...decisions...decisions...

I agree with you man. But in all actuality, thats just a Oregon Ducks uniform with Ravens colors. Though I'm happy with our jerseys now, it would be kind of cool to see an update in a few years or so, maybe when another company (Under Armour?) takes over the NFL's uniforms/

We are going to have a very good 53. Ozzie came out of last season and said I want to have the best 53 guys. He has a great group to pick from, thats for sure.

"CSNBaltimore.com’s Clifton Brown listed Marlon as one of five players that need to step up in OTAs"

A good indication of how seriously Mr. Brown's list should be taken is that it includes Marlon Brown and Campanaro while it doesn't include Jah Reid and Asa Jackson...

You have an excellent point about the quality of Mr. Brown's wisdom, no doubt.  But it occurred to me that maybe he's just given up on Reid and Jackson so there's no point in urging them to step up.  I, personally, still like Jackson and hope he will have a good year.  But I admit that is hope and not wisdom coming from me.

The Ravens have so many good players to choose from several positions. "Having too many good players, even on depth charts is always a good thing". Meanwhile, only 150 Patriots fans showed up to support #12 at Gillette Stadium yesterday. Makes me wonder if that was actually a football rally or a bunch of people who have lost their darn minds. I am just happy we have so many WRs/TEs/RBs to choose from, so many targets. Good to be a Ravens fan. In remembrance to all who gave their lives fighting for freedom since the colonial days, God Bless and may they all be resting in peace.

We had a nice corp prior to the draft WR wise, adding Perriman was the key, but then getting Waller, and the UDFA will really bring out the best out of the ones who make the cut....Not so sure Waller clears waiver if we try to sneak him through to the PS...Aside from Carter all the WR are at least 6-2, size appers to be the trend for us this year...

Sometimes, like with Ngata and others, you just can't afford to keep everyone you want. Heck, Unitas, Montana and Emmitt Smith didn't finish their careers in the same uniform they started in. In a salary cap league, that is just reality. We have KO who also needs a contract, but will be less expensive than Yanda. We have Urschel and we just picked up Myers in the draft. I love Yanda but if like Ngata and others stick their heels in the ground and wants more than we can pay, then I guess Yanda will be playing somewhere else next year. These last 4 or 5 years with the Ravens, especially after they cut Heap and Reed I realized that we need to get used to the business side of football.

I have no doubt he"ll be back. Not sure if he will be starting by week 1 but I bet he will be In uniform. They will start working him in more each week and by week 6 he will be back in business.

Remember last year how there was all this whoopla about how many WR's to keep and the really tough decisions over who to keep... imagine how hard it's going to be for them now. Wow too many weapons... if that's a problem than it's the greatest problem for a football team to have. I think they keep 6: SSS, Perriman, Brown, Campanaro, Aiken, Waller.

That uniform that "Keoni Tamiano Block" have on Twitter is the perfect new uniform of the Ravens. It has and darker purple along with the black on the shoulders. It has shades of purple on the heat as well a black on the sides of the helmet and I love that gold facemask. They kept the Maryland logo on the side of the jersey. The only thing that they hope they kept is the Raven logo on the helmet that makes them look iota dating but other than that that uniform looks awesome. I hope the Ravens take a look at that picture.

I really hope tou are right but the way he broke his hip the last time without even being touched I am not so sure. I hope you are right because I really want him to play.

I hope when they reduce S.Smith SR's playing time / offensive reps that they do it smarter than the Panthers did and ask him when he wants to take a breather through out the season. SSS knows his limitations better than anyone else and being aggressive and practicing harder and playing harder is his style he came in and had 1000 yards recieving after a lot of people said he was only going to have a average season because of his age. He thrives on proving people wrong ever since he got drafted this has been one of his strengths. I guess I am just trying to say let the guy get a breather when he wants to and when he wants to be on the field let him on the field at least until he stops being productive. Then shuffle the other WR's around him during the game.

I wonder if that if we want to sign both K.O. and Yanda, I wonder could we cut Monroe and use that money to help sign both of them and have James Hurst play on LT because Eugene is Ok but not that dominant we thought he was and use that money to sign both of those two guards or even trade Monroe next year but it fine that we keep him just a thought though.

S.Smith, B.Perriman, M.Brown, K.Aiken, Camp or Carter (depending if Camp can stay healthy) & D.Waller. that's the 6 that make it. Waller will be bumped up if M.Brown struggles in mini camp for a 2nd straight year.
