Not at all. Maybe you could say Cushing because of injuries, but Timmons is a far superior player.

Daryl Smith is and was very, very good. However, wouldn't go that far. Certainly underrated, maybe top 10 ILB, but not top 5. I'd say he's in the top 10 now and Mosely is in the top 5. Mosley may have not been the best at pass coverage, but he still did a very good job at it. Certainly wouldn't call it lacking. More like developing, but certainly still skilled.

Well, he played OLB with the Jaguars and was pretty dominant there, but didn't receive recognition due to the Jaguars losing. I know PFF had him rated as their number two 4-3 OLB in 2011 before getting injured in 2012 and then coming to Baltimore.

Daryl Smith has an animal and I was beyond excited to land him when the Ravens did

It's a different position as some mentioned, but yeah Daryl Smith was a monster for Jacksonville... but no one cared.  Because well... jacksonville.

Hard to believe the lack of respect for Daryl Smith. What he has accomplished in replacing a legend is nothing short of stellar and he has arguably been the most consistent player on D for the past 2 years.

It's funny. I don't have him, though I wanted to put him. We always complain about top 100 lists, but we do the same thing others do. We don't put the best there and make excuses for why other guys are higher. I didn't have Smith because I partially went on what I think Mosley will do. Didn't put Wagner cause of injuries, though at the same time had Jimmy on the list.

No Dumervil?

It's a good problem to have when your team has too many great players that some get left off a top ten list, isn't it?

yeah, lists like this are always subjective, but D. Smith was somewhere in the top 10 as soon as he signed and he has remained there since.

" When I first got here we analyzed every football player we had, we graded every football player, we looked at every game that they played for the last 2 years, we graded everything that they did,....analyzed offense and defense........we did everything to bolster our defense....everyone we selected has the ability, but pride and performance makes the difference..." Vince Lombardi

We have so much analysis these days from various sources, and with the top 100 player choices coming out, I thought in this thread we rank our Ravens top 90. Hard to put unprovens in top 10, you guys can do tpp 5 top 90, whatever you want, my top 10 would look like this:

1) Flacco

2) Moseby

3) Tucker

4) Suggs

5) Yanda

6) J.Smith

7) Williams

8) Upshaw

9) Monroe

10) Smith Sr.

Surely Dumervil has to be in your top 10.  I would insert him in the Upshaw spot

this is literally a copy of the "top 20 ravens" thread except its top 10...

Except this one was first, but that is my point. No need for two threads about the same thing right?
