I can see that. He is a full time starter and a very good one.

I can't make a list. It's something like asking a parent to rate which of their children they love the most.

When we part ways with players like Ed Reed, Ngata and even undrafted loyal Ravens like Boldin, Pollard and Jacoby Jones, part of me dies.  It's bitter, especially when it appears premature. Jacoby had a Raven tattooed and we don't win that Championship without him.

I can state the Raven's I don't like, there are not many. Currently there are 3 and I hold each one personally responsible for denying us what is rightfully ours.

I don't believe in these kinds of lists. Impossible to fairly evaluate how valuable one position is compared to another.

That's a big drop from where you had Monroe last year (I think number 2). Shows you how fluid a list like this is. Props for going full 20, and I like your list a lot. I'll have to think on this for a little bit to make one of my own.

Monroe is terrible.. I had a passionate debate with several members of this blog about this. I didn't believe he was worth his contract. I still don't and nothing against the guy, just don't think he's nasty or physical enough to play LT at a top level. Too many games I witnesses and then rewatched him on his pants.

Pass protection is where he excels and it's very important in today's NFL. Bringing him in has solidified the OL especially if you consider the revolving door at LT the Ravens have had since JO retired.

I feel that some people are undervaluing Wagner. This guy finished on PFF as the #2 ranked RT in the game. Not saying that Wagner isn't appreciated, but I def. think he's a top ten.

Mosley was really good too, but Smith was outstanding, especially in coverage where Mosley struggled.

I agree with this. I'll be looking (hoping) for big improvement here in year two because I think he has the talent and ability for it. Just a split second too slow in his breaks to chase the crossing routes.

1. Flacco

2. Yanda

3. J. Smith

4. Suggs

5. Williams

6. Mosely

7. D. Smith

8. Webb

9. Wagner

10. S. Smith

More of an "MVP" ranking than "best player" ranking. Flacco is one because he is the one player that cannot be replaced by a substitution if you hope to remain a contender. Yanda is second on that list. Defense 3-8 because I believe that side of the ball will bring us back to the promised land, and the players listed are in order of my projected impact this year (expecting huge, pun intended, things from Brandon). Wagner at 9 is a reflection of how good our running game was last season, and I think that has more to do with the line than any one RB. I could have easily slotted Tucker at 10, but Steve made the list because of his affect on other players more than anything else. No rookies, yet, for obvious reasons.

Agree except for no Will Hill. I'd put him in before Wagner. Wagner was great but as seen in the playoffs, we can get by without him.

LT's aren't the maulers. They are the finesse lineman. Your guards and RT are your maulers. Monroe's technique and pass blocking is very good.

You don't believe that come on. Mosley absolutely knocked it out if the park last year.

Hard to believe the lack of respect for Daryl Smith. What he has accomplished in replacing a legend is nothing short of stellar and he has arguably been the most consistent player on D for the past 2 years.

people here underrated daryl smith much like the NFL have.

Daryl smith has been a top 5 linebacker in this league over the past 8 years. He's elite..an all pro. Sadly he was on jacksonville.

no hope for recognition. CJs coverage skills were lacking last year. To be honest i thought he tailed off quite a bit at the end of the season. Aaron Donald and Mack were better than him . Mack is easily the best player of last years draft.

why Cj over Daryl?

are you a Daryl's personal fan? ninth place - you took it as a personal insult?

Mosley was more productive in 2014, and will be even better in 2015. it's top10 of the 2015 ,isn't it?

how was he more productive? I have been a fan of daryl smith for years. Is it because he's old? Is that way you put cj over him? because i don't think he was more productive than daryl or is overall as good as him..YET

bad coverage? well mb , but PDef = 10 , Int = 2

I think it's cool when we debate how great one player is compared to another on the same team. It speaks to how good both players are imo. There were things Mosley did better than Daryl and vice versa.

Daryl Smith is and was very, very good. However, wouldn't go that far. Certainly underrated, maybe top 10 ILB, but not top 5. I'd say he's in the top 10 now and Mosely is in the top 5. Mosley may have not been the best at pass coverage, but he still did a very good job at it. Certainly wouldn't call it lacking. More like developing, but certainly still skilled.
