Another thing Flacco gets little credit for, adapting to new OC's, and making the offense work...

Flacco is going to have another career year. Maybe even get his second ring. Defense looks good and he has better weapons to work with. Still won't break the top 10 QB's list on NFL.com. lol.

Why, oh why, is the ball hitting Kamar Aiken in the back in his picture?!?! Is this the best picture we could find? I mean the ball is clearly behind his jersey... Any chance I can start a petition for a picture change?

It's great news. I knew Flacco and Trestman would come along. They have the same kind of personalities: stoic, who keep his poise whatever the situation, and very clever. I hope he will stay at least two years, even if he will have head coaching opportunities probably next year.

That is 100% correct. That is 1 stat that never gets mentioned and to me is very defineing. There really are not many that can keep making playoffs with a different Coordinator each year. I for one applaud him.

One thing about being a Raven fan that can not be questioned is we don't cheat!

Flacco is the most underrated player in the NFL, bar none. All he does is win without the superstar receivers that the other QBs rated ahead of him ALL have. If given the tools that Rogers, Brady, Manning, Luck have he would be top 3, no question.

ncraven44, it would be nice to have a OC for more than a year or two, i hope we are considering grooming asst OC's, like we do players....:)

Has anyone noticed that Joe is ranked 10th all time in playoff wins with all the people around him current or future Hall of Famers?

It's really amazing that Joe Flacco can play under 4 OC In 4 years and I'm happy that Marc Trestman and Joe Flacco can communicate on the same pages and that they are both happy about this coming of ages, A happy camper makes a better football player, not many QB's can do this and still be productive but I can get Negs for this comment but I still feel that Cam Cameron was the one that brought up Joe Flacco for his life as a Raven, he brought him along slowly right after being draft and as luck would have it became a starter and the face of the franchise, I really can't remember another QB like Flacco being successful as he Is in this short period of time without some of the excellent named football player of other teams, this past draft was the Draft of the Century and I'm feeling the Baltimore Ravens are definitely the team to beat now. I'm seeing Joe Flacco with a bulleye on his back and I'm seeing at least 4-5 Super Bowl Rings in the next 10 years or maybe more and many many playoff games to come. Crybaby Brady and Big Ben will probably retire within the nest few years hopefully and their teams will probably not be as dominant as they usually were in the past and I don't see any other teams that can match or come near us In the future.I just love the way this franchise is coming about.

I'm really liking where this is going. Offense is looking good, youthful(with just enough veteran presence, and hungry and even though they are running the westcoast from last year they will have new twist and tricks up their sleeves thanks to Marc Trestman. Defensive line and linebacking core is looking beastly and well stocked. The secondary is looking solid, rested, and reloaded. Also with all the talent on the roster and John Harbaugh being a ex special teams coach our special teams will be magical as usual. Baring injury this will be a awesome season!

Man fun times to be a Ravens fan :D.....

Even with my dislike for Cameron and his extremely predictable offense I must agree with you that without him perhaps Flacco doesn't pan out the way he did. Also realistically speaking 4-5 Super Bowl rings is a bit high, at most Flacco is winning 3 more rings in the next 10 years if he plays that long.

Flacco will never get the credit and respect he deserves but I stopped caring like a year ago, especially because he seems not to. After watching the that travesty on nfl top 100 where he fell over 50 spots and was in the 90's behind Cj Mosely(no disrespect to him, in fact I thought he, T-Sizzle, and Nagta should have been higher) and the blatant disrespect by these nfl.com analyst "top 10 qb's" further proves this theory.

It's cool tho, I'll just let the wins do the talking no matter what these so called experts, his peers, or even some of my friends and people I know say. Joe Cool is the right is the right quarterback for this franchise, and the best qb in playoffs where it really counts.

Nothing but love for January Joe!

I think the organization as a whole (which would include Cam) did a great job of bringing Flacco along while still having solid success on the field. We allowed Flacco to gradually come into his own (perhaps, at times, it felt a little too gradual). But it has paid off in handling him in a manner where he was not called on to do too much too soon.

Most 1st round QBs today are called on to start day one AND are asked to carry their team - which is a disaster waiting to happen. This league seems to stack the corpses of promising young QBs like firewood.

What are you talking about Popeye the Sailor Man? Cam Cameron bringing Joe along slowly? Joe started from day one due to injuries in the preseason. That was just a lot of Huey. In my opinion Cameron was holding him back, hence the Joe Montana run to the Super Bowl. Caldwell didn't do much that was a status quo. Kubiak changed the system entirely. Now we have Mr. Trestman the "quarterback whisperer". Joe has all the tools and is a smart guy. I think this is going to be one of his finest seasons yet. Hopefully we keep Trestman for awhile? I think this is a great fit of personalities and the best of Joe is yet to come.

Believe we signed Trestman to a 3 year deal so he should be here for awhile unless we run him off.

Trestman must love having a cool-headed guy like Flacco after being with Cutler.

Yeah, that's going to be quite a culture change.  From contesting controversial Cutler to calm cool Joe.

Let's not forget Joe won a Super Bowl without the weapons that other quarterbacks have had like Matt Ryan with Julio Jones and Roddy White. Joe is the Best quarterback since Johnny Unitas and that's just the facts. I suffered through all the other ones and I know. Even Trent Dilfer had Quadry Ishmael and Shannon Sharpe. Now Joe has some real weapons and am just so excited!
