[News] Kyle Arrington Returns Home To Join The Enemy

54 posts in this topic

I hope he shuts down Sanders for us week one like patriots fans say he did for them.

It looks like who ever was guarding Sanders did a terrible job but if he was one of the guys that held TY to 3 catches for 24 yards and 1 catch for 36 then I hope he does some of that for us.

You're about to be playing in front of the best pass rush you've ever played with before,Kyle. We don't need you to shut down guys for 5-10 secs.Just don't get beat immediately like the guys from last year and give Sizzle and Doom enough time to do their thing.

Having a solid nickel CB is so important in this league. We did not have one last year, and now we do. If J. Smith can stay somewhat healthy, we are looking very pretty right now.

Although he hasn't showed "star" qualities in his career . . this is a HUGE addition for the team. Don't under estimate what this will do for them.

I was sceptical at first as to why the patriots would let go of a CB. They lost browner and revis so it made me question. I hope this praise for Arrington is legit. Welcome to Baltimore. Play like a raven!

That's always the depressing beginning to any comment about our cornerbacks..."If Jimmy Smith/Lardarius Webb can stay healthy..." Unfortunately, it rarely turns out where both those guys are on the field at the same time. One or the other always seems to be injured.

I said in another comment section but it bears repeating, I am amazed at how New England fans view the Ravens as a major rival. As a Baltimore fan there is the natural, division driven rivalries we experience here, mostly with the Steelers but the Bengals as well and then the Browns fans hate us because we were them and now we are us. I do concur that I dislike the Patriots but for a team we may not even play every year (like this year) I couldn't really consider them a rival. But if you look at it from the Patriots perspective, who else but the Ravens drive them crazy because they know at any time we can beat them. I don't think the Patriots fear any other team in the league but us. We have been a thorn in their side and as much as Brady likes to play down the Ravens, you at least know the fans won't deflate the importance of the rivalry and then lie about it. Oops, did I really say that. Hahahaha

It's cool that he wanted to be here--and by here, I mean the state of Maryland, not just here with a successful organization. I like that.

Lucky guy that Kyle Arrington to go from a great cheating team to a great legit team, he might not be the best CB but he will do the job for the Ravens for the time being

The only reason they view us as a rival and generally dislike us is because (correct me if I'm wrong) we're the only team in the Brady era to go into Gillette and beat them in the playoffs and we always play them close. They way our teams are designed, we are the perfect team to beat them and each game either ends on controversy or comes down to one crucial play. I went to school in the New England area and I can tell you the only team they hate more is the Giants. The fans are errogant and don't respect the rest of their divison because they usually beat them

Just my 2 cents but in my opinion  I dont believe you need to be corrected at all you hit it square on the head.

we will see a much improved matt elam this season

I really hope your right "Greek". It would be a waste of a high draft pick if he does not work on his tackling skills and seriously improve his whole game. He will get plenty of practice tackling on special teams because I would be SHOCKED if he gets much playing time with Hill and Lewis starting....

I think Elam will be improved, but he will have to win the job, and not have it handed to him...

Dean Pees said it best. He is a great get for us particularly after the first round of free agency and draft behind us!
