[News] Joe Flacco Impressed With Breshad Perriman, Maxx Williams

44 posts in this topic

This is the fastest, biggest and most talented group of receivers the Ravens have ever had. They will keep six including Aiken and they will also keep 4 TE's including Pitta. This a great time to have a very good offensive line and a very good running game. This will be a real tough offense to stop. STAY HEALTHY.

I don't know what they are going to do about "Juice". He may be the odd man out. Boyle won't clear waivers but Juice might.

If Flacco could turn "January Joe" to full season Joe, our offense could be a juggernaunt.

I think Joe Flacco has stayed pretty consistent except maybe 10 games of season games in his career. When I watch some of those terrible games like against Buffalo 2-3 years ago where Flacco threw 5 interceptions that none of the receivers were getting separation so you have to just throw the ball and hope that the receiver can catch it. I think Ozzie was tired of 3-4 games a season seeing the offense stall from receivers not getting open and I really think that Ozzie broke it down in this draft and that raised some offensive players on our board like Perriman and Maxx Williams. I'm happy to have them on board I hope they can be consistent in getting open because that has been a huge problem the last couple years. Only consistent receiver last season when Steve Smith was double teamed was Owen Daniels and he is in Denver now.

I really believe Waller is making the team and will have a his share of plays this season.

No way they place him on PS.  The FO knows someone is gonna poach him. He's gonna be on the roster or IR just for the sake of keeping him within our grasp

Last year we kept 7 WRs on the roster after the final cuts. So they could do it again. Smith sr., brown, perriman, aiken, camp, butler, Waller.

Would be nice but the secondary keeps dropping like flies during the season.

That was last year, bud,... "snake bitten" rarely happens two years in a row now that Kyle Boller's gone!

Flacco is ready to roll. with the guys we have around him it is going to be fun to watch him get at it this year. I really think this is going to be a fun and special year for the Ravens and us fans.

I highly doubt we keep 4 TEs (3 max), but I could easily see 7 WRs making the team. Juice ain't going nowhere. You're crazy for even thinking that. We always keep a FB on the roster. He might even be the surprise of the year with a year under his belt. He sure is capable. Gary Kubiak did not have many plays for Kyle so we shall see what the new OC got in store.

What they will do about Juice is what they did with him last year ... he's on the roster as an FB (not a TE) who will block and periodically slip out of the backfield to catch the ball. He just needs to be more conscious of holding onto the ball.

It is hard to imagine 4 TEs on the team, but it is going to be interesting to see what they do. Despite the positive rumblings about Pitta, I think he starts off the season on the PUP, at best. If he does play this year, it makes for a very difficult situation ... trying to put Boyle on the PS will be a risk and there is going to be a sense that Pitta is a ticking time bomb. You don't want to lose your 4th TE to turn around and need him in a moments notice.

Setting the final roster will be interesting this year.

Perriman didn't have a hands problem. He had a lack of great QB problem. The ravens are a dangerous team and nobody is giving them the credit they should.

Yeah I am saying he'll play this year no doubt you don't coach 6'6 4.4 speed this preseason is going to be really exciting to watch with all the young talent on this squad.
