[News] Joe Flacco Impressed With Breshad Perriman, Maxx Williams

44 posts in this topic

With Marc Trestman at the head of this scary offense, with a scary front seven and now a good secondary, with a head coach that is a special team specialist, I believe - if we can avoid many injuries - we are a superbowl team.

I agree, We havent even mentioned Buck Allen and Darren Waller yet, two guys would could add considerable depth and potential starting ability in the future.

The makings of something great is there no doubt- all we have to do is stay healthy and execute. With the young talent we just brought in we could really have something special here for years to come.

Even if his drops remain a problem, he'll still command respect simply because of his speed, just like Torrey Smith. If he can learn to run every route and make the correct reads, he'll become something better.

Perriman only drops the easy ones so make him work for the catch and he'll be ok.

Baltimore has been wishing for a dominant offense for so many years but has always been a few pieces short. For the first time, I am feeling that the Ravens may just be a real force to be reckoned with on offense. Too early to count my chickens yet but I feel optimistic enough to have a pack of Depends near by in case I can't contain myself come game times this year.

Honestly, I love the big receiver targets. How many times have I commented in here about Joe being high on his throws. When I go back and watch games on GameRewind going all the way back to 2011, When Joe misses, he usually misses high. So having big receivers like Perriman, Waller and Marlon Brown will help Joe simply by them being so much taller than the receivers he has been throwing to and considering his natural penchant for throwing high their size immediately helps Flacco. Also, no excuses this year for not getting together with his receivers and working on timing and getting a feel for each other. Nobody is in school, no schedule conflicts, not a new system and no excuses as to why they cant start working together on their own time. C'mon Joe, the team stepped up for you now we need you to step up for the team.

on offense the ravens look like they are definitely contenders. the o-line looks tough receiving corp looks like it will shock the league, tight-ends look better than they have in the past couple of years and the running-backs seems to be the weak leak; but, they did last year, too. look what mr. forsett did there. flacco has really no excuse to light the football world on fire. i would like to see "playoff joe" flacco in the regular season to ensure a afc north title and deep run in playoffs.

Joe is so down to earth he perhaps has nothing going on right now except playing around with his kids. He is just that way. He is one that is able to compartmentalize his life beautifully! He will be fully involved in football when OTAs roll around, but till then I truly believe the only excitement you will get from Joe is one that is written up by others. That is just who Joe is, and I for one am totally fine with it! In fact that is what makes him such an awesome player.

Yeah, Joe didn't work out with his receivers last year, when we installed a new system and he STILL had a carreer year. I feel like we overrate something, that is essentially a fancy version of playing catch.

Wouldn't be surprised if ya don't see flacco getting with his wrs... his family got a little bit bigger and flacco seems to be very family oriented. Somethings are bigger than football so if he does great, if he doesn't cause he wants to spend the little free time he has left before the season with his family... I got no problem with that

Breshad Perriman said that he's really amaze that he'll be catching Joe Flacco's balls, I'ma willing to bet that he'll have a 90% -95% catch ratio

I just cant wait to see all the guys both veterans and rookies get on the field together and start practicing. We all know veteran players coach up the rookies even sometimes more than coaches do.

Max Williams is going to be a very impressive and productive player. You can hear it in his voice and see it in his eyes. That guy just wants to go out and play solid football.

When the game is on the line in the playoffs, this offense has serious potential to threaten any defense, especially the middle of the field now with Maxx , Boyle and SSS

The article is one sided.  Waller and Boyle were not given enough credit.  However, its great to get excited about our Offensive capabilities.
