Tell the truth, how awesome is it that we have an organization that does everything it can to build the best possible team every year? #Ravens

I just hope (along with these guys remaining healthy) that we learned how to cover those short passes that N.E. threw 12 times in a row or more in the playoffs. Teams see that and think they can matriculate the ball down the field that-a-way whenever they need a score to win or take the lead late in the game. That was sooooo demoralizing to our Divisional Playoff Game, last year!

It's funny how every off-season we the fans get so restless regarding which FA Oz needs to go after, what position players Oz needs to draft, and every year he takes care of our needs at the end....I feel the plan was to always find a vet CB post draft, because i think we all know we shouldn't expect a 4th round CB to be the secondaries savior, as he was drafted to be groomed...Like Oz said " I Got this"......

Wow, this is really good, I like the Arrington signing, the defense and offense have improved so much. The Ravens are turning me into a drooling fool with a giddy state of mind that we may have to have me committed if this team improves anymore than they already have in the next three months. Great job Ozzie.

Alright, I'm finally feeling OK about our secondary. I like it when the perfect player becomes a FA like this and we just swoop him up. Kind of like Doom and Daryl Smith... and I would throw Lee Evans in there but... yeah, Arrington's Patriots kind of ruined my memories of Lee Evans.

If anyone in Raven Nation is not completely ecstatic about this news then check your pulse. Arrington certainly is a fantastic/quality add to the backfield. Hes seasoned, physical, healthy, and most of all, high quality at the position. People (particularly the NFL commentators and pundits) really needed to shut up about how the Ravens didn't go DB in the early draft. Ozzie had a plan (which may not have been Arrington exactly)as always...Backfield depth was one of them. Smart Quality addition here folks, and one to be excited about. should provide the back end the kind of security to keep Elam at his native position and to play to his strengths and progress too. This pick could change the complexion of the whole defense to blossom. Looking Fwd to '2015 football :)

I see Asa Jackson getting cut or traded. He has not been able to stay healthy, and had off field issues. With the young guys coming up including Melvin, or possibly picking some other guy as FA cuts are made, I cannot see him finding a roster spot despite how bad our depth was last year.

I doubt it with the amount of injuries we had last year. Though that's not likely to happen, you have to be cautious. We had Safeties playing CB last season. Can never have enough DBs, especially since one of the young guys is already injured

This is an awesome pick up by Ozzie. A corner with playoff and big game experience. The secondary is looking really good right now. Let's give Peyton some big time payback for those 7 touchdowns game 1!

This is going to be a hard roster to make. I love how we always keep guys in competition to make a run for another SB. Thats why teams have had to cheat in recent yrs to derail us. It can't just be a coincidence that there has always been some janky play, no call, new rules that get voted on such as helmet to helmet hits on defenseless receivers (McGahee rule), the Refs in the Pats playoff game were horrible and I believe some of them knew that they were cheating, Smith Sr. Was held by Revis multipule times on the same route but they didn't want to call it when it mattered most in the End zone! And again at the end of the season another new rule was made because the Pats are Janky and try to bend the rules like Pitt. But I respect our games with them, the Refs need to be called into some of this scandal because they have to be more transparent. I seen multiple plays where wr were blocking down field past 5 yrds before the ball was in the air. I just honestly believe we the Ravens have been cheated out of SB appearances and a team even tried to sabotage our SB win against the 49ers. The media never gives our guys credit either, have you seen this top 100 crap. Lmao smh I can bearley find Ravens merchandise in some stores, some have laughed at me, are we really that good and hated on? I say yes, they tried to tarnish Sugars going out party by bringin up his past, Ed Reed retires and they say Troy is the better Saftey and Ed won't be a 1st ballot hof. Like have they all gotten amnesia, Ed is quiet and doesn't have that pretty hair for the media, we are real football players no man is better then the team. Ed Reeds highlight reel might be the best no wait is the best defensive highlight film from our era. We never get our do and I think its a lot deeper then we know, we might be the most hated on team.

Arrington used to rock the #24 jersey, but when Darrelle Revis came to New England they made Arrington give it to him, since that's Darrelle's favorite #. The #24 jersey is available on our team, and you can 100% have it, and we will never take it from you Kyle.

I hope we only use Arrington in subpackage formations. Aka the slot. Aka the Nickel CB. He is essentially a shut down slot CB, and using him in any other position on defense would hurt us more than help us. As far as special teams go, Arrington is phenomenal at it. When I compare him to Corey Graham there is a reason behind it, because Arrington is a PERFECT replacement for Graham. I can emphasize enough how critical this signing was.

@Abz great roster except one thing if I counted right you only got 52 players and you can have a 53 man roster so I would get another receiver on that list and have DeAndre Carter as the 7th wide receiver that could help us at our punt and kick returning.

@abz I'm glad you brought that up. I think the key to the defense this season will be the play of Williams and Jernigan. Quite frankly, Williams is a beast. I've never seen a player in the NFL physically dominate other players as Williams does. He straight pushes Centers and tackles into the backfield! Jernigan on the otherhand can also hold his own on the run, but started to excel at getting the backfield at the end of last season. I'm super excited to see all the new pieces in action. I'm like a kid that just got new toys

I hope he wears #24 with us if it's available

Currently it is. But he might also get 25 "back" as right now it's Tray Walker's number, but players are allowed to swap numbers for the regular season (like Ray Rice wore #39 during his rookie pre-season and changed #27 after that)

However improbable it may sound now, Mount Cody could do that in his rookie season. Here's hoping Brandon won't go copycat on Cody's career.
