[News] Ravens Reach Agreement With Cornerback Kyle Arrington

There is no point at all putting Arrington on the outside. Arrington is an expert in the slot, and is not the same player on the outside. I honestly think he is a top 10 slot CB. Just a fun fact, he led the league in interceptions in 2011. That was not that long ago, and he is still only 28 years old.

I thought Arrington might go for a max pay day after winning a ring. Thankfully, I was wrong about that probability. He decided that going to a winning organization that is in the same state where he grew up was more important. Good man, and welcome to the Ravens my friend.

Better than drafting a 2 or 3rd round CB......Still in his prime, and 7 years experience, and playoff tested.........

Very good intake.  He is ready to step right right away in and play slot for us. HUGE PICK UP. I am very excited about this move.

Oz is the most patient GM out there, as well as the best gamblers....He wasn't going to go after him before the May 13th deadline for signing players without giving up picks...Arrington being from MD i'm sure played a role, as well as playing for a top notch organization.....Wizard of Oz does it again.....

and ozzie is not even done yet, he's still have 3 months until season starts, so he have time to , like SSS said, take other GMs lunch money, lol.

hell yea big time slot corner. so if jimmy is able to lock down one outside and arrington able to lock down the slot that is a pretty good secondary corner wise.

Was reading an article on Nesn.com and it was stating that Arrington could go to the BITTER rivals the Baltimore Ravens. I am so used to our bitter rival being the Steelers but after thinking about it who gives the Patriots the hardest time on the field. The Patriots routinely have a hard time putting away the Ravens both during the regular season and playoffs as well. Patriots fans know they were fortunate to come back from two 14 pt deficits in the Divisional round and it seemed the Colts game was a let down after the Ravens game. if I was a Patriots fan there wouldn't be any other team I would fear more than the Ravens so from the perspective of a Patriots fan, their toughest game or most bitter Rival is the Ravens. Arrington is a good steal as well as he has new defensive. Information Pees can add to his historical info giving the Ravens the opportunity to be a thorn in the side of NE and make their fans fear us even more.

Great signing. we're set and ready to rock. This move to me spell trouble for Webb after this season. I also believe Melvin will win the starting job opposite to Jimmy Smith this season, I love what I saw from him last year and he's only going to get better with another year in our system. This is turning out to be a very scary Baltimore Raven's team lady's and gentlemen. Thank you ozzie. thank you..

First things first, ask him if the balls were deflated in the divisional round. Next question, ask him his ring size, cuz he'll be getting a second (legit) ring soon enough.

Wow!!!! YES!!! It offical guys no weak spots on our team. Team is dangerous now. Ozzie you did a great job. Now it one more thing the Ravens should do now is extend Marshal Yanda then we are set for next year and also hope everybody stay healthy so we could see how good this team could be.

3 years, 7 mil. Now this is just outright ridiculous. One thing for sure, I would never sit at a poker table with you Ozzie Newsome. This is the steal of the year.

If this deal is 3 years 7 million Ozzie is a down right genius. This guy is something else he way ahead with other gm's in the league. :)

I was so pumped about our draft, and UDFA signings, this is icing on the cake...We hit every need either through the draft, UDFA, and FA signing....Oz pulled the perfect trifecta.....

Awesome! well there it is..Ozzie is poised and ready when a player becomes available. Still money left in the bank and some trade possibilities, dont be surprised if we pick up a veteran WR and S after June 1 or even later when teams start trimming down. But this is the perfect guy for us right now. He is a shut down kind of guy...QB's stay away from him of they can.
