Boom. Ozzie Newsome and Eric Decosta are the dynamic duo of NFL Free Agency. Lurking in the shadows, always ready to strike.

YES! We have FINALLY found Corey Graham's replacement. Critical move for the Ravens. I think we are now officially rebuilt and Super Bowl contenders now. I love it.

This is a good signing. Our secondary just got stronger. Hopefully we stay healthy, because we could be dangerous.

Another bit of good news. Things are definitely looking up, at least on paper. The talent is there and will be formed into a winning, cohesive unit by the Coach & staff. As always, injuries are the big unknown but the Ravens seem to be adding the all important quality depth.

Kyle is going to win two rings in a row with two different teams ... smart guy

He got burned a bit in the SB, but he still brings good depth that we need and hopefully last years run of injuries at CB won't be repeated.

Arrington made so much sense. I knew there was a good chance that we would get him. Things are looking good right now Ravens Nation. Now the only question mark we haven't answered yet is who is going to be our KR/PR. We will figure it out in training camp. I said at the end of last season that we were still in rebuilding mode from the SB, and that we were not contenders yet. The Ravens almost proved me wrong against the Pats, but our secondary proved me right in the end. I can officially say that for the first time since our SB team, we are out of rebuilding mode and ready to win the North and be a legitimate contender again!

Wow, I'm a die hard Raven fan but back in February my only response to whether the Ravens were contenders or not was "In Ozzie We Trust" and just get us in the playoffs and Joe will work his magic. Now we seem to have a really complete team. Seems like the best Receiver group we've ever had and this younger version of our defense seems ready to strike the NFL hard. Lets hope for no severe injuries and I feel like we can top 13-3 but maybe I'm being over optimistic.

Kinda weird that when he was released, it felt like he was already in a Ravens uniform. Ozzie does a great job locking up guys that make a ton of sense.

So is it going to be Smith and Melvin on the outside with Webb and Arrington in the slot switching off or are we just keeping Webb outside and bringing in Melvin every once and a while?

Think Webby is gonna be outside with Jim

this makes us a real super bowl contender, if we are anywhere outside of the top 5 favorites to win it all then it is straight up disrespect.

although i am nervous, 2013 the OL got the injury bug, 2014 the secondary got it, im praying to ozzie that it doesnt happen this year, if we stay relatively healthy we will win it all.

Terrific signing OZ! Kyle will bump up the competition for the Nickel CB job. I know I say this every season, but I can't wait till this years season starts! I wonder how much was the deal OZ made with him?

:o Whoa. I didn't expect the ravens to get arrington. I thought some random team would outbid for him. I'm happy he's a raven.

I have to be honest... this team from a talent perspective looks like it could be just as talented as the 2011 squad that got billy cundiffed and lee evans'd out of a SB berth. The addition of arrington pushes guys like asa jackson and rashaan melvin back to the bench which in turn gives us some nice depth. 3 vet corners manning the secondary is much better than having a young guy in there learning on the fly. Heck, the 2011 squad had cary williams starting w/ lardarius webb and corey graham. Jimmy was off the bench (injured too) and was able to be eased into the rotation which helped his development.

If breshad perriman and maxx williams have good rookie seasons, this team could do what the 2011 team couldn't. I'm very excited about this. Hopefully injuries don't crush this team like they did last year.

The only position i have a concern with is strong safety. I believe that will hill will be fantastic manning the FS position w/ 1 year of experience on this defense under his belt. IDK what kendrick lewis, terrence brooks or matt elam will do. Terrence is coming off of a serious injury. I have my concerns with matt considering how terrible he was last season. Kendrick lewis is an unknown to me at this point because when i watched the texans last year, their secondary was terrible. However, that could be due to scheme. Bernard pollard was a part of one of the worst secondaries in the history of pro football before he came to the ravens. He came on board and the ravens secondary was really good.

Save for injuries, the SS position will ultimately decide if the ravens are in the SB or not this upcoming season. It's crazy because matt elam's 2 missed tackles vs. the pats were probably the difference in that game & contributed to the ravens not getting to the SB last season. I just hope the best man wins there. Go Ravens!

I think Melvin is in the Mix, 6-2 CB, and he played really well, i think he is now our #4 CB going into camp...
