And hopefully continues to do for the organization.  He said he would love to do something for them.

A class act all the way! Double J made himself, his family, the Ravens, and their fan base proud! Never forgotten.

Was sad to see him traded, but glad he retired where he belongs! Thanks for all the great memories JJ!

No. Numbers are rarely retired in football.

Just wondering since they had his jersey framed.  Also, very good point. However, I think Ray Lewis and Ed Reed's jerseys will be retired. Maybe Suggs when it is all said and done, but it is hard to say on that one.

When are we going to see the video of the presser Ryan? We missed it at 2:30 this afternoon. Would love to see his presser video.

My first thought was the Ring of Honor should be saved for higher caliber players than JJ. Then I thought about his toughness, character, the grit, skill, technique, and came to the conclusion that he qualifies. If this team had 53 Jarret Johnsons we'd all love it. There are only a few Ravens in 20 years you can't find something to complain about, he's one of them.

There are so many former Ravens that deserve ROH consideration. Not that they all qualify. It's like being on the HOF ballot. An honor most players don't ever see. Jarret deserves consideration. He was a very good football player.
