He would be a nice add, but since he just got a ring, he's probally looking for a payday and we don't have the money to do that.

He was going to cost the Pats $3M - not a bad starting point for a solid role-playing vet with a SB ring.  The Ravens have $10.8M left and we've signed all our rookie draft picks.  We're good.

Obviously Arrington is the most appealing option. He is a big name CB from a winning franchise, only 28 years old, cap casualty, and we can get him for cheap. Signing Arrington would finally fill the hole that has not been filled since Graham left. Plus he is great on special teams just like Graham was. I don't know what Ozzie has up his sleeve, but Arrington just makes too much sense not to consider. Most importantly, we have enough cap room left to realistically bring him in.

Hey, I got a little excited when I heard Arrington was let go by the Cheatriots too, and he Would be a good option as our slot CB. But, here's my other thought: There's been a lot of talk about Jonathon Joseph, or is it Joseph Jonathon LOL, seriously though, what do you like better? Smith and Webby outside with Arrington as the slot CB, Or, Smith and Joseph on the outside with Webby in the slot position? A lot of people on here think Webby is best inside. I know, the Texans haven't even cut him yet and I don't know why there's so much speculation that they will, I'm just throwing this out there. It's still pretty early. There Will be more cuts.

If we are expecting to sign kyle Arrington to less than what the Pats released him for, I don't know if that is as easy as we think. The Pats are very interested in bringing him back at a reduced salary. So, the question becomes would he come to a new team - Ravens at a reduced salary, when he can go back to NE where he has familiarity with the defense and locker room? Just a thought...

We all know Jimmy and Webby will be healthy ... the question is, can they stay healthy. That will be critical to our chances of being Super Bowl contenders, no matter what depth we add. Nonetheless, rolling with the current roster is a significant risk and I think we're all pretty eager to see the team add some talent in the secondary for the 2015 campaign.

I wouldn't mind having Arrington If the price is right. Remember we don't need a #1 or even a #2 guy but a solid guy who can step in and give quality reps and a guys who could step up if one of our two would go down. I think Arrington would be ideal but curious to see how it shakes out!

We could afford to bring in Arrington AND Joseph if indeed he does get cut. I say get Arrington in here now and if JJ does get released than bring him in also. I dont want a repeat of last year where it was, lets see who else gets let go than we get stuck holding a empty bag and our SB hopes deflated with it. Always attack. Get Arrington. Thats 3M. IF JJ gets cut offer him the same, even more if needed. Right now we have 10M and can create more if needed.

I think Ozzie should do two thing before the season start 1 get a quality corner to satisfy the secondary like a Arrington or Joseph 2 would be to extend Marshal Yanda so we won't have less to worry about.
