Perriman consistently making Walker look silly.

Hopefully that's just Perriman being really good rather than Walker being really bad.

that's what a top pick should do to a day 3 player.

I think the Ravens knew Walker was a project player the day they drafted him, so I'm not surpised if he has his fair share  of struggles.

Would anyone really prefer to see Walker shutting down our #1 draft pick regularly?

Besides, I think a lot of CBs in the NFL will get burned deep by Perriman in one on one drills.  Not too many corners running a 4.3 these days

Taylor or Tomlinson?

Knew someone would say that.. Tomlinson

Not old enough for Taylor even though you're right

Figured he was a camp body anyways..

He was potentially more than that. He was a 5th round pick who ran a 4.35 40...

Any practice open to press this week?

Tomorrow, I believe. Could be wrong though.

I could be wrong about perriman but I'm just saying he has massive bust potential because he has so many flaws to his game outside of his natural attributes. I wasn't just right on elam.. i have actually been pretty accurate on most draft picks. From Mosley to jernigan to urshel to pitta to Yanda etc. I wash;t ever a fan of ed dickson and i wanted to chock ozzie for not taking gronk instead of sergio kindle ( who i hated as a player and person) .Oh and with or without the staircase incident much like with cody i had kindle as a bust and it would have been that way without doubt

bud dupree is another sergio kindle..we dodged a bullet on that one.

The good thing about perriman is that he will make a big play here or there..but he will NEVER be a number 1 receiver.

Rob Gronkowski was selected in front of Sergio Kindle, not after him, so the comment about taking Kindle instead is inaccurate. Gronkowski had little chance of sneaking into the 1st round because of the back concerns despite being a 1st round talent and I'd like to assume that we were hoping that he would fall to us, which unfortunately wasn't the case. I personally wanted Devin McCourty before we traded back into the second. I was a fan of Perriman well before he was selected, but in either case, it's hilariously early to place a permanent cap on the career of a 1st round selection, especially if we're willing to go as far as stating that Darren Waller can be a legitimate No.1 WR.

I remember wanting Devin McCourty that year as well. Man, he proved to be such a great pick as a safety. I wonder if we would've changed his position? Regardless, that's a guy I'd like to have back.

Also playing CB is just hard for anyone in the NFL.  Corners are usually year 2 players at the earliest.

This is awesome.

@jamisonhensley: #Ravens FS Terrence Brooks, a 2014 3rd-round pick who tore his ACL in December, continues to surprise. He participated in team drills today.

i dont know if its just me but boyle looks like hes in way better shape than maxx. i also think there is no question that crockett will be our starter.  after hearing the presser i think that jernigan is going to explode this year. also saw butler making alot of catches- i knowwww its only OTA's but it just makes you realize how much of a fight its going to be for that last spot. butler, camp, carter, robinson, and worthy all have showed promise. some will throw waller in there but i think he is a lock. the injuries to camp and robinson really hurt their chances but nothing is certain.  butler, worthy and carter now have a real shot to shine though. its gonna be a dogfight.

I think Butler is really good for a project player.

I think as a CORE the WR group is good.  It has deep quality talent.  It's just not very heavy at the top.

Aaron Wilson said Terrence Brooks is running around in team drills, that's encouraging.

http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-ravens-corners-jimmy-smith-lardarius-webb-absent-terrence-brooks-takes-part-in-team-drills-20150603-story.html

edit - whoops just saw Gordo posted it, I'm old news.

PS - KO was in attendance and the only starting OL to participate, some of the others are coming off injury. Dennis Pitta worked on the sidelines, Wilson said he looked more fluid than earlier.

maxx is just so young. I don't expect too much from him right now.

Our TE group seems like a very cool blue collar group.  I'm as impressed with Gillmore and Boyle as I am with Wiliams.  I especially liked how Boyle described his "model" player to be Heath Miller.  I may hate the Steelers, but I respect that guy's game a ton.

*Edited for dreaded misspelling of Gillmore's name the first time around :D

I believe our TE group is going to present unique challenges to defenses. When you have Gillmore, Boyle and Williams or any combination of 2 TE sets, it is going to be impossible to know whether we pass or run and equally impossible to defend either. And all three can catch and at least Gillmore and Boyle are fabulous pass blockers and run blockers as well!

Thanks for the article...looks like Brent Urban is 100% and beasting.

Urban was impressive, penetrating the backfield frequently. He got too close for comfort to the quarterbacks a few times and was briefly sent to the sideline by coach John Harbaugh.

well to be fair, what round he was originally drafted (actually the 6th) in is pretty much irrelevant 3.5 years in. And we aren't lacking in speed at WR so his 40 time is nice and all but how fast he can run in a straight line isn't much of an indicator of ability at all
