Like every year it was great to read the news and watch footage of the new draft class.  Here's what's next for the rookies.

OTAs: May 26-28, June 1-3, June 8-11

Minicamps: June 16-18

Hah, well lets hope he sets a new standard for BP's as Ravens. Yeah, having these young offensive guys like BP along w/ Maxx and Boyle is very exciting. Flacco is at the point in his career to really help these guys develop, and Smitty can be a great mentor to these guys.

Anyone know the status on KLM and Brent Urban?

Hope these guys come back 110% and ready to help the team!

There hasn't been a status update on either. If I had to put in a guess, Urban will probably be back by preseason at the earliest.

At the earliest? Urban was hurt in camp and never participated in pre-season last year. I can't imagine it'll take more than a year to recover

Well yeah but I think the healing and conditioning and getting back into shape is what led me to make that decision.

Thanks. I never seen anything about their status, just though mAybe I missed something about them. I Got to say, with ngata gone we need them more now then ever. This year our D line will be up for the taking, can't wait to see who will take advantage of the situation....

I think our Dline will be fine. Not trying to bag on Ngata, but his pass rush was dipping, Jigg was actually a better pass rusher this season, though it is his specialty, he's a good run stopper as well. Also including Davis and Williams who are primary run stoppers, I think this Dline will be just as good as it was last year. I do see a dip in sacks though.

Can't agree with that but, I do see a dip in D-line interceptions though. lol

While I do feel that Ngata's pass rush dipped, he did provide a great bull rush and did a pretty good job at collapsing the pocket. That kind of production will be tough to replace. We also lost McPhee who was a pretty efficient pass rusher. Unless Dumerville has a better season in 2015 than 2014, which I find hard to imagine then I don't see us getting better at it. I still believe that our pass rush will ranked top ten, heck top 7, just not as good as last season.

I'm with you brother. I was just kidding around. I try to make light of things all the time.

Posted this is another thread but figured it was relevant here as well. OTAs began yesterday so I'll post some news and stuff I come across here

Michael Campanaro suffered quadriceps injury during Ravens' organized team activity, severity of injury still being determined, per sources

Camp injury is unfortunate. I hope it's not too serious. Dude can't catch a break.

Also, I just wanna say kudos to whoever has been making those practice videos and behind the scenes stuff. It hasn't been like this every year now, has it? I've only had the Ravens app for about a year and don't remember all of this footage from last offseason... It's been a real joy to watch.

Campanaro is not going to make the Ravens team. Can't rely on a guy that goes down with injuries every time he touches the field.

You can't make the team if you're always in the ice tub Campanaro.  This gives Waller and Carter more reps and a better chance to make the team.

Hopefully it is just a mild strain. In which case he would be back in a couple weeks. But if it were to be a complete tear of the quad, he would be looking at a four month recovery. In which case he would already miss the whole preseason and may be even regular season games.

The first thing, that came to my mind, when I heard of Camps injury was "Phew, atleast it's not one of our CBs". I feel really bad for that. :(

These ridiculous injuries he keeps having are just that. He just might not be able to cut it in the NFL. I really like him a lot but if you're always hurt you're no help

Laquan was durable.  He just never really developed as a receiver.  He was a teamer exclusively.

Just saw Campanaro had a reported injury already... It's unfortunate that injuries were concern coming out of college then he missed a number of games due to injury last year and at the first minicamp practice gets injured too. With battle already going on for WR depth chart these injuries will definitely set him back....

It's been just this year they started and it's been awesome. Much better than the writers answering hypothetical questions with hypothetical answers.

But factor in better coverage which we should have
