I don't know. I've wondered the same thing. If we can get a standout FS, I would go for that. I really do like Ramsey from FSU. That stud FS would go a long way a la Earl Thomas from SEA.

I was thinking someone like LaQuan Treadwell, but Jaylen Ramsey would be a good pick at a really shallow position, but that's only if the FO is confident that Brooks won't work out.

Yeah. I do like Brooks a lot, but then again, why pass on a talent like Ramsey because you have a guy like Brooks? If both develop, you have a stud tandem back at safety. If not, then you have a solution somewhere. You know how I feel about safeties, though. I don't think our safeties are bad. They're certainly not why we lost.

Man, I just wish there was a stud pass rusher out there. I do like Bosa quite a bit, but I certainly hope we don't have a shot at him unless he has an unwarranted drop.

I wouldn't mind Ramsey at corner if Brooks panned out. He's one of those guys who I think could Excell at both. Just a flat out playmaker back there.

I've seen him dropping in mocks, but that's more because of quarterback needy teams. Still way too high to even be realistic at this point

Yeah, no reason you can't use both Brooks and Ramsey and have a ridiculously talented safety group. I obviously haven't had the chance to take as long a look at prospects as I'd like, but if we're picking near the top half of the draft Ramsey's the first guy I'm looking at.

As opposed to a guy who could Powerpoint the positions?

(Sorry, I'll see myself out)

One of the sports writers on CBS just did a mock draft for the 2016 offseason. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/nfl-draft-scout/25310628/mississippis-robert-nkemdiche-vaults-to-top-of-2016-nfl-mock-draft

25. Baltimore Ravens - Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State: Powerful and experienced in MSU's pro-ready scheme, Conklin makes sense for a club that consistently wins on draft day by sticking to the best player available approach.

I'd be okay with this. A long term, consistently good starter at LT without injury issues could be great for the offense.

Then the Ravens could potentially get someone like Joshua Perry, or Cameron Sutton in the second.

@Bmorebird22, LaQuan Treadwell or Kendall Fuller would be my first two choices if they're available.

I want only pass rusher in round 1 next year. Trade up if necessary.

Does this trump my carrots comment from the other day?

I think my biggest complaint about Kendall Fuller (my favorite potential prospect this year) is that he bites too often on double moves.

I was very hopeful for another receiver, like Treadwell or Boyd, but I don't think that happens with the Suggs injury.

Michael Thomas, a first round reciever probably, showed us that all too well.

Michael Thomas (on the very off chance the Ravens could get him) and Perriman could be a younger and possibly better version of Boldin and Torrey Smith.

Even against Perdue, they were running stop and go routes because they know. Obviously it's obviously that can definitely be fixed, but it's just pushing him down draft boards

Myles Jack injured  his knee and will miss the remainder of the season at UCLA. If he declares this year for the draft does it cause him to slip enough for us to grab him? Thinking everyone on here knows him already

Hopefully we can get him in the third round. Man, that would be nuts. He'll likely still be a second round pick with how important CB are in the NFL.

I'm not sure. Gurley didn't fall much but it's hard to say he's got the same hype as Gurley. I'm a bit devastated since I love watching him play.

Anyone that loves the game of football is/should be devastated, I think he's that kind of guy.

I think Gurley would have slipped further (to the chargers), but everyone knows how much Jeff Fisher loves to run the ball.

No way. Kendall will be somewhere between 20 and 50 at worse. Production is one thing but swagger and star potential will get you drafted high year in and year out.

Im really interested if we will finally address ILB

Honestly, I view him as too talented to even be a second rounder, so third round is out of the question for me, but what a chip that would be

I think grabbing Fuller in the second would be a steal.

Any idea when Corey Robinson would go? Haven't seen him listed/ranked on most sites

Considering he's a junior, most places may not rank him yet because they don't know if he'll declare or not.

I don't disagree. I think Fuller should absolutely be a first round pick. Hey, who knows, maybe this just lets him drop to us in the first round if/when we make the playoffs. Could be a blessing. Lol

Our conversations should tell you already that I don't think he'd drop that far, but then again, I've been wrong before. I don't think he'll drop past the top half of the second, but then again, you never truly know. The draft is so unpredictable at times. It's easy and it's hard.

Nothing's ever guaranteed.

And I'm really confused by this…  You do realize that we have CJ Mosley and Daryl Smith, right?  I know Daryl doesn't have too much time left, but I think we're just fine there right now.  We've addressed ILB plenty with Mosley and Brown, even if the latter hasn't shown much.

Brown looks the complete opposite of promising and Daryl Smith needs a predecessor.

I'm not expecting a high pick but maybe someone like in the 5th or 6th

ILB is literally the least concerning position to me.  We regularly find capable players there.  I'm sure we'll take a guy late or something, but even if we don't, it's not a big deal at all.

I just really dont want to get in a position where we have to start Zach Orr, Atleast in his current form.

Yeah. I wouldn't touch a guy who's an ILB unless he's far and away the best player or he's some freak athlete that can play many positions.

If Myles Jack declares and falls to us then yes. We take him. He and Mosley would easily be the best ILB duo in the NFL.

But yeah. Otherwise no

I'm really really liking Leonard Floyd. He's so aggressive and plays angry. He has swagger we need on defense and he's relentless. I really don't like how light he is, though.
