Can Oakman bend fast enough to catch him?

he can easily reach him from where hes currently standing, no bending needed. its only a matter of time before he gets hungry.

I have always been impressed by Jalen Ramsey, S, when I watch FSU. I heard he is moving back to CB this year so it may be interesting to watch how that pans out but I think outside of the already talked about Edge need S may be a big one for the future.

Yeah he both impressed me and infuriated me at that same time when Miami played FSU last year. He just kept making plays and talking smack while doing it. lol   He's the type of player that used to be a Hurricane. I was very impressed with him in both run support and pass coverage. He has great closing speed to make quick tackles.

Some of my Favorite Prospects.

WR Pharaoh Cooper 5'11"  208 lbs - South Carolina  ( this is a very explosive WR, he has kick return ability as well. They just find ways to get him the ball and he makes plays. He took over the bowl game versus my Hurricanes it was incredible )

S/ LB Su'a Cravens 6'1" 225 lbs- USC  I hope this offseason Cravens and the USC staff make a commitment to a position. He came in as a Safety, but he put on some bulk and played a lot of LB last season and moved to safety at times. Not many safeties can carry that much weight and move around well enough at the pro level ( Chancellor is doing it currently and Adrien Wilson is another example )

CB Vernon Hargreaves - Florida  he is already a household name, he has some really good technique. If he's not the first corner next year I would be shocked.

CB Kendall Fuller - Virginia Tech   his Sophomore season wasn't like his freshman season but is very good cover corner, his freshman year he played opposite his older brother Kyle Fuller ( Bear now ) and Kendall looked like the best defender on the field most of the time.

RB Derrick Henry - Alabama   for such a big back he has a great burst, since he shared a backfield with Yeldon and Drake he hasn't taken much punishment in college. Also catches the ball well out the backfield.

WR Travin Dural - LSU  he started last season off he red hot, but poor QB eventually took it's toll he faded down the stretch, he's an interesting WR outside of the big name ones.

u'a Cravens

I want to see Striker play next year. I was watching some of his tape and to be completely honest I wasn't too impressed, maybe a mid rounder to me.

Yeah, he probably would have been a 3rd/4th rounder if he declared this year. He is pretty light for an OLB.

Hassam Ridgeway from Texas is a guy I expect to make waves this year. Malcom Brown was the star of the DL last year, but Ridgeway had a very solid year as well.

Means nothing especially since its the offseason. If it happened during the season or late in camp id be more concerned

I wouldn't say a DUI means nothing, but it shouldn't absolutely destroy his stock if he can keep his act together until the draft. Might hurt him a tad tho.

It's hard to say right now. There's a fine line between overreacting and not taking things seriously. I don't think it's significant by itself but as part of a picture, it may be. Who knows what dirt NFL teams may uncover? If they find dirt and this further supports behaviour they find that concerns them, it could certainly impact his draft stock. If he does it again it could certainly affect his draft stock. It's too early to tell, but it's disappointing

started looking at prospects again, the edge rushers keep catching my eye, jay'lon smith is a guy im really liking, on the smaller size but plays nasty and appears to have proper technique at first glance, shows a well rounded skillset, can cover, can shed blockers, can pursue, can finish, and he looks like he could be a great weapon for stunts. looks like a pro ready OLB to me

I think Jaylon Smith works best as a 4-3 OLB. I think he'd play ILB if he played in a 3-4.

idk about that.. he looked like a natural edge rusher with well rounded skillset from what ive seen, but then again ive only seen a limited sample size.

He only has 3.5 career sacks, not much of a passrusher. I think they played him more like a middle LB last year, as he had fairly high tackles numbers. He's about MLB size as well at 6'2" 235 lbs.

when i watched his highlight video he was constantly in the backfield, TFL left and right and lots of qb pressures, and alot of that was coming off the edge. do they move him around alot or something?

Notre Dame runs a 4-3. So he does play OLB, but 4-3 OLB is a lot different than 3-4 OLB. I bet they use him similar to how the Vikings use Anthony Barr.

i know the differences in 4-3 and 3-4 lol, like i said i just havent watched much.

for an example though, peter boulware played OLB in 4-3 and 3-4, he didnt switch to ILB in a 3-4 or DE in a 4-3, he stayed at OLB in both schemes and held the same role in each scheme.

just from the little bit ive seen from him i dont view him as a ILB for us, and i thought he looked too small to play OLB for us, still was impressed by his constant backfield presence in his highlights though

I am still liking Eric Striker, NFL.com compares him to Dumervil

If Striker could put on some weight, I'd love to have him.
